Description

Enjoy the world class amenities of Wild Dunes Resort from this centrally located home in the highly desirable Pelican Bay neighborhood. Across from the beach and 100 yards to the pool, you will love this bright and colorful home.

Upon entry, the bright and comfortable furnishings welcome you to the lovely living area with plenty of room to gather. The dining area sits in between the living room and kitchen, by the windows over looking the lagoon in the back yard for sunlight and bird watching. The dining table seats 8 comfortably and open to the main areas of the home.There is even a screen porch for you to enjoy! The fully equipped kitchen is just beside the dining area, complete with upgraded appliances and new countertops. There is also a powder room off living room for convenience. 

Next to the front door is one of the master bedrooms with a private bathroom. This has a queen size bed, overlooks the front of the home.

The additional bedrooms are upstairs. The Master has a queen bed with its own private deck overlooking the large lagoon. It has a full bath, including a shower and separate tub. The remaining two upstairs bedrooms will have a queen bed and a room with two twins. These rooms will share a Jack-N-Jill style bathroom. 

There is a covered garage for two cars and an outdoor shower for post-beach and pool trips. You and your family will love it!

Very nice home. Well taken care of and in a great location. Close enough to beach and in a quiet area away from most traffic. Also had a nice pool available to us. We did have a little problem with a recently remodeled bathroom but the issue was resolved very quickly and professionally. Our family would certainly recommend this home to others.

Everything was perfect!!! House was in a great location! Very accessible to beach and pool. The how was very clean and had a perfect layout! Plenty of space! Beautiful porch! Communication was excellent!! Thank you for a great week!!!

This was our second stay at this beach house and it was even more clean than it was the first time. Two of the three bathrooms have been redone and the view from the porch is gorgeous.

Location is nice for beach access, and we thought the beds and most furniture were comfortable (need pads or better dining room chairs). The interior is getting worn in some areas but decor, lighting, fans and overall space was as promoted. We would have liked some better cookware as we enjoy preparing fresh meals. Might have been tight if we had been 8 instead of 6 guests. Neighborhood was quiet even though it seemed almost full. Would recommend for others!

House was very clean and equipped well enough for a week's vacation. A little updating to the kitchen would be nice, but that doesn't take away from the house. The local property owners in the community are not very receptive of renters, but they leave you alone. Beach and pool access is very convenient - just a little confusion over where you can and cannot park for the beach. Rented a golf cart, but was later told only homeowners can have golf carts in Wild Dunes, so that was a bust. All in all a great vacation.

17 Pelican Bay is a nicely furnished house, although it is rather small at just over 1800 sq.ft. It does have a very nice screened in porch that really made it seem bigger. The house was clean which is the most important thing to me. The ice maker doesn't make ice but did work if you put a bag of ice in it. The community pool is very nice and very close. The walk to the beach isn't too far but the beach access beside the property owners beach house has very nice golf cart (LSV) parking. It says it's for owners only but there were always several rentals parked there. We had a great week here!

Due to unforeseen issues with another Sweetgrass property, the Sweetgrass team stepped in and moved us to this wonderful property. Drew, Crystal, and Justin did everything possible to make this a comfortable stay. 17 Pelican Bay turned out to be a remarkably comfortable home in a very nice and quiet neighborhood within the Wild Dunes resort. The home overlooked a beautiful lagoon that had a lot of natural wildlife. The were herons, egrets, turtles and even an alligator that would sun itself. We really enjoyed our time at the property and would heartily recommend it to others.

Great family house!!! My husband and I had 4 kids staying there with us. House was in a very quaint little neighborhood with our very own 6 foot gator right outside. This was very entertaining to the kids! A quick walk to the beach. I recommend renting a golf cart and chairs because this house didn’t have the typical beach house amenities such as towels, chairs, umbrella. The re tal company should have provided more trash bags and laundry detergent. Sheets and pillows (!) were not comfortable but the house was clean, spacious and had a lovely screened in porch. Great view of the pond! I would go back with my own sheets/pillows next time. I would also suggest having the powder room toilet serviced. Would definitely recommend this house!

Location of the home is great, a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach. Kitchen is decently stocked, refrigerator was very clean. Dining area was tight for 6 so we used the screened in porch and deck tables nightly which worked out great for us. Bedrooms and bathrooms were decently sized. Communication was great. When we called to have an extra parking pass brought in, it was delivered promptly.

17 Pelican Reach has a good location. It is located just a short walk from both the Pelican Bay community pool and the beach. We enjoyed our interactions with all of the Sweetgrass staff. Thank you for all of your help.

The property is laid out VERY well and worked wonderfully for our family. We loved all the outdoor living spaces as well as the spacious living room with all the seating. Everything with the vacation booking was handled promptly with all information being very informative.

I love Pelican Bay and have stayed at this home and others in the community for many years. I love the location and the layout of the house. Everyone was helpful, timely and answered questions if I had them.
