The updated kitchen and several porches make this home very comfortable. There is a living room with assorted seating and an adjacent dining area that seats eight. This home provides many decks and porches to engulf yourself in the Kiawah nature and sounds. You'll be sure to hear the herons crooning across the lagoon.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor, both with King beds and en-suite bathroom. There are two bedrooms upstairs featuring king beds, en-suite bathrooms, and their own large porches. Pros: Excellent location, golf, beach and hiking trails in close proximity. 4 large rooms with King Beds.Multiple great outdoor balconies to hangout. Cons: Much of the kitchen and bath cabinetry was old and poorly maintained, paint falling off-the cabinets. most of the remote controls had expired batteries. that is as basic as toilet paper. Place just needs some TLC for 700 a night. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

8 Silver Moss is a great house! Super close to the beach, with access to a pool! The house definitely needs a lot of basic maintenance, but no major issues. The sweetgrass staff was particularly awesome this trip. Huge kudos to Andrea for helping us out during check out...she went above and beyond!!!

The location and layout of the house was great, but it needs some repairs and updates. We experienced a heat pump issue and refrigerator issue, but Sweetgrass was quick to respond and made repairs.

The kitchen has a little wear on it that will need to be addressed soon. Sweetgrass was great to work with, everyone was so responsive and professional. More information about what could be accessed on the island by the public would have been helpful.

Fabulous location. The front and back porches add a tremendous amount of character and great for a rainstorm. Four bedrooms with separate bathrooms is a plus and the kitchen was well equipped for kids. Terrific home for families to get together from across the USA. There are a number of areas that need care -- the upstairs bathrooms smell moldy, the shower doors in one of the masters on the main floor are not in the grooves but I believe these are small easy fixes that high volume renters have challenged. I would definitely rent again! Thank you for sharing.

We really enjoyed the spacious home on our recent family vacation! The access to the beach was an easy 4-5 minute walk and we had the community pool to ourselves. The weather was so beautiful, we did not get to use and enjoy the downstairs game room, but knew it was available if the weather changed.

This house was well appointed and the location was great - 2 min bike ride, 5 min walk. Very comfortable for our family of 4, with overnight guests. The furniture was comfortable, though one of the upstairs king beds was feeling its age (facing the pond). The laminate on the bathroom cabinets in same en suite was peeling off. Game room in basement was fun. Lots of fees added on to the rental rate, so was annoyed that the check out instructions had us stripping beds, taking out all garbage, running the dishwasher, etc.

Amazing house. Great location for everything! So close to the beach, maybe a 2 min walk on the boardwalks and path. So convenient for golf. The house has everything you would need with a great screened in porch out back. Each room with its own bathroom is spacious and comfy. Downstairs pool, shuffle board and extra beds are amazing for kids and to hang out. Quiet dead end street great for bike riding and close to paths. Highly, highly recommend if your looking for a great spot for families or just friends.

Great house/location - peaceful, great porches, enough seating for us all. Bed in 1st floor, right bedroom needs to be replaced (squeaky bed and lumpy, uncomfortable mattress). Pans, including frying pans, couldn’t be used b/c old, Teflon scratched up, etc. Those few changes would make a huge difference in people’s stay.

Thank you for another wonderful week, our second time staying in the house. Our baby celebrated 7-months at the beach shared with both sets of grandparents, aunt and uncle, and friends. A few things to pass along - neither of the blenders work, the living room ceiling fan needs a longer chain (the wider chain connection gets stuck in the globe hole), and the downstairs AC wall unit drips (maybe condensation line is clogged). We appreciate your hospitality!

We have been coming to Kiawah for well over 20 years. This was the best house we have rented in the nicest location. The Sweetgrass staff was very helpful with issues(which were very minor) and responded promptly! The house was very clean and well equipped. We will return!

Had a great visit in Kiawah. The house is a great location near the beach and on a golf course. It was nice to see all new floors in the house and new paint. We enjoyed seeing the big alligator that sometimes is on the golf course behind the house. My kids had a great time playing on the bunkbeds.

I stayed here for a month and loved the brightness of the house, location and the wildlife overlooking the bridge. The house was newly painted and all new beautiful hardwood floors. This home is on the 18 fairway and you can walk to the beautiful clubhouse which by the way has delicious food. Would recommend this to all who want to play golf, go to the nearby beach, visit Charleston, and take the tourist boat rides and much more.

This is our second time staying at the house and it was perfect. We loved the new basement space for the kids. Great location for everything - walk to the beach, the golf course, restaurant at Turtle Point. The back porch is so relaxing. The home is super clean. We will definitely be staying here again.

We loved the location and the common areas of the house were great for our large group! Everyone I talked to whenever I called was incredibly helpful. I loved the updates I received throughout my stay - info about cable outages, info about departure procedures. The info left in the rental was helpful with enjoying our stay.

We had an amazing stay! The house was the perfect size for the 11 of us with the king beds and bunk room. Our favorite spot was definitely the screen porch! We enjoyed watching the deer and trying to spot the alligators. Wish we could have stayed longer!

It was easy to book, organized and all worked out well. This is a great house, with a perfect location. The house has an awesome layout with open kitchen/living room, large back desk overlooking golf course and a really great downstairs with TVs, pool, shuffleboard, bar, couches and indoor hitting range for golfers. Comfortable bedrooms and everything was very clean. Friendly host as well.

This home was the pinnacle of relaxation with quick access to activity in every direction. The beach was a quick (flat) walk making it easy to go to and from the beach at will. My husband walked he and his clubs to Turtle Point Golf Course, as the house is situated on the 18th hole (and then called us when they were close so we could come out and watch a few holes). The wildlife was new to this Virginian and all within a short walk...alligators, various large birds, butterflies and we even saw the Kiawah Island Turtle Hatching Patrol help five newborns make it to the ocean. Often when we rent, one couple gets the best room and the others get the residuals. Every room in this house has it's own master bedroom feel and is separated from the other bedrooms by hallways. You truly get to relax. The great room spacious with enough room for everyone in the party to be in one place. It is made up of a living room with beautiful natural light, huge dining table and a very large, equip kitchen. The layout of the house is just perfect.
