The first floor of the villa features the three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed, and has a semi-private bathroom that also opens to the hallway. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and shares a Jack N' Jill bathroom with the third bedroom that has two twin beds.

Moving to the second floor, the open concept floorplan houses the main living space, kitchen, dining area, and half bathroom. The living room has a flat screen TV and comfortable furnishings to relax on after a long beach day. There is also a queen-size sofabed. The half bath is right off the living room for convenience. The kitchen is fully-equipped and has everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. The dining area seats 8 guests. There is a great balcony overlooking the bike path and beautiful nature Kiawah has to offer.

Make memories outside- starting with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean, just a few minutes walking from the villa. For some real adventure, take the island bike paths over to Freshfields Village or Bohicket Marina for wonderful shopping and dining or ride over to Captain Sam's Spit to watch the dolphins frolick in the water!

Overall

we have loved vacationing with sweetgrass! we had additional people join us this year so we needed a bigger home to stay. while it was not as updated as other places we have stayed, it was nice nonetheless. the kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to fix our meals however we have stayed in other home where spices, oils, etc are offered and this home had nothing! the start up items provided were next to nothing in some respects like trash bags and napkins. thankfully i was prepared and brought all of those things. it does feel like when youre paying sooo much for a vacation that basic essentials like should not have to be packed let alone really thought of. the beds were nice and i liked how we could have a jack n jill with our kids while grandparents had their own private oasis. while overall the house could use a nice deep cleaning (walls, steam clean kitchen floor, couches) it was very comfortable and we really enjoyed ourselves. we had coffee on the deck every morning followed by a long bike ride and an afternoon on the beach. we will definitely work with sweetgrass again as they are always prompt and courteous. were are so thankful for our kiawah 2022 vacation!

The place was neat and clean, stocked with everything you would need to get your vacation started without having to worry about running out to go shopping as soon as you got there. The proximity to the beach was ideal, not even a 5 minute walk. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone who wanted to stay on the island. Looking forward to coming back!

We really enjoyed Sweetwater Grass Villa. Plenty of space. Perfect location. Easy to get to the beach and navigate into Charleston. Kiawah is now one of our favorite beaches. Loved the privacy. We will be back again!

Kiawah Island Family Vacation June 2021

Overall

We rented the condo for our family vacation with our 3 adult children. We went with another family that was staying on Surf Scoter right behind us. The location was perfected because were towards the front gate, there was a bike path right behind the condo that took us right to our friends condo, and we were a 5 minute walk to the beach. The condo was nice. It smelled a little musty when we got there, but it’s an older unit so that can be expected. The beds were comfortable and there was a pull out couch in the living room. We had everything we needed. Sweet grass delivered a 9x13 glass baking pan as soon as we asked. The dryer squeaked really loud and was replaced. The back porch faces the bike path and lush trees so you couldn’t see any of the houses behind. There were even deer roaming around the back all week. We had a great stay! We probably needed a larger unit since we had 8 adults but this was the only thing we could find when we booked in March close to the beach and our friends in our price range. This would be a great condo for a family with young kids! My only reason for the good rating is he bed, but they may be perfect for someone else. They were a little too firm for me. I’d rent this condo again with less people. Great location and great service by Sweetgrass!

Kitchen is a bit small. Overall the neighborhood was quiet and convenient to everything. Only two TV's in the unit was a challenge.

Great stay for the PGA Championship! Location is excellent in quiet village near Cougar Point GC. Short walk to the beach and can hear it from the nice balcony. Having 3 baths (2 full) was great with 4 people and house is quiet as well. Adequate and easy parking. Large table to accommodate dinner, playing cards, etc and plenty of couch space for all. Great for a family or guys golf weekend. Neighbors that appear to be owners were very friendly too! Would definitely go back. Thanks for the great weekend!
