Description

The best of the IOP Beach is at the end of the street - walk past three houses, no roads to cross, and you’re on the beautiful white sand. This home has five bedrooms and three and a half baths. The house is on a corner lot and is the perfect location to the beach!

The main level, or first floor, is beautifully decorated and provides a bright, open space for entertaining guests. The living room features comfortable seating with a 65'' flat screen TV. The dining room table seats 10, with an additional 4 at the kitchen counter. The living and dining areas are backed by floor to ceiling windows that run along the exterior of the home providing natural light and easy access to the expansive outdoor porches. Recently added, a new screened patio is an ideal spot for outdoor dining with table seating for ten and a comfortable place to enjoy warm summer afternoons. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and a white subway tile back splash. A separate beverage station in the kitchen provides extra refrigerator space.

Also, located on the first floor, just off the living room, is the master bedroom which is furnished with a king bed, TV and en suite bathroom. The master bath has a stand up shower as well as a jetted tub. A cozy sitting room connects to the master bedroom and provides a great space for working remotely, playing games, or can allow for extra sleeping on the pull-out sofa.

The remaining four bedrooms and two bathrooms are located upstairs. The first bedroom to the left has a king bed and flat screen TV. This room shares a bathroom with the third bedroom, which also has with a king bed and TV. At the opposite end of the hall is the fourth room with a king size bed and TV. This room shares a bathroom with the fifth bedroom, which has both a queen bed and a bunk bed with twins. The third bedroom and fifth bedroom have balcony access.

The home has multi-level decks on the ocean side of the home. Enjoy a glass of wine on the porch or take in the ocean views and sunsets on the rooftop deck, which we like to call the sky lounge. This home does come with garage access. There is also a golf cart for use during your stay ($350 use/maintenance fee applies) and a Tesla charger (3rd generation) available for guest use as well!

Pets are accepted during the months of October thru March (off-season only). Two dog maximum; nonaggressive breeds only; Cleaning Fee applies.

Our family of 6 recently enjoyed 9 days at 8 53rd Avenue and had a wonderful vacation. The house was "as advertised" and was lovely. The house was clean, the beds comfortable and kitchen well-equipped. The beach was spectacular and just a short walk away. The property manager was very responsive to anything that popped up and we would definitely consider returning to this home again.

The house is perfect for a large family or several couples. The kitchen is a great layout and conducive to cooking while still being with your guests. Excellent screened in porch and other porches. The balcony up top was a favorite of the girls wanting to get that last bit of sun for the day. Although the furnishings are a little dated, they are comfortable and sturdy. Our only issue was that the house was not very clean when we arrived. Clearly the cleaning crew did a rushed job as there was grit on the countertops, dust bunnies and evidence of dog hair and residual sand. The bathrooms were clean but one of the shower curtains was clearly moldy and should have been replaced. It’s a large home and I understand it takes a long time to clean but for what we were paying (plus the $500 extra charge for the dogs who don’t shed) we expected a better cleaning job. If they address that issue, it’s a great house and we would definitely recommend it.

Renting through Sweetgrass properties couldn’t have been easier. The house was clean and exactly as the photos appeared online. They were very responsive to all of our questions and check-in and check-out were a breeze. We would definitely rent through them again.

Beautiful and spacious home. Well stocked and extra clean. Quiet neighborhood only a block from the beach, so good views and can hear the waves, or can walk the blocks nearby. Nice office space. Good wifi. Will definitely look to come back!

My Friends and I, absolutely enjoyed this house and the help for Leonard was top notch. Always responded in a efficient manner. Looking forward to coming back next year and dealing with Sweetgrass Properties again. Steps from the beach, short drives to amazing food spots and areas to allow your social meter to soar. Been to Charleston/Mt Pleasant area 5 times before this and safe to say this way by far my best time due to this house. Also the rooftop deck was absolutely beautiful every morning for enjoying a nice Black Coffee. Thanks again Leonard, and Sweetgrass Properties!!

Our stay was way better than expected and we cant wait to go back again!! We were expecting just a house, not an entire golf resort with all these amazing amenities!! It was absolutely perfect, we didnt even have time to experience it all! To be honest, dealing with the Sweetgrass team was a joy because we never really had to. We rented a home off property and were not expecting to need any help with anything, and we didnt. When we had a question about our parking passes, they were right there with an answer, but otherwise, everything we needed was provided in advance so that we could vacation undisturbed, exactly as planned!

We had our entire family, including our two grandkids for a week's vacation last year and had a great time at the house and the beach. Beautiful! Spacious! Bright & Clean!
