The 5th Annual Cars on Kiawah has been rescheduled for November 7, 2020.

Get your motor runnin’ and head out to the island. If you love cars, you don’t want to miss the 5th Annual Cars on Kiawah, an annual festival of automobiles at Ocean Park.

Cars on Kiawah showcases the history of the automobile, from the early 1900s to the present day. This eclectic event has more than 250 cars displayed by country of origin along with displays from sponsors and vendors.

The line-up is extensive - from roadsters to muscle cars to vintage trucks. A 1971 BLMC Moke. A 1963 Alfa Romeo Spider. 1959 Austin Healey Sprite. 1969 Jaguar XKE. 1953 Bentley Motors R Type. 1959 Nash Metropolitan. 1984 Land Rover. And, that’s just a handful of the vehicles on display last year.

The 2019 show put a spotlight on Rolls-Royce with 18 beautifully restored cars on exhibit. This year, the Spotlight Group showcases Porsche’s iconic 356 model. Several special cars will be displayed within this large grouping of 356 Registry member cars. This will be a rare opportunity to experience the history of the 356 Porsche manufactured from 1948 through 1965.

Cars on Kiawah hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The popular Kids Display returns this year with another group of unique vehicles for kids - young and old - to experience from “behind the wheel.” There will also be the paint booth van.

A Young Enthusiast Class will display cars from young collectors representing a variety of auto-motive history. This display hopes to encourage a new set of “caretakers” to continue to share the history of the automobile.

There are bathrooms onsite, along with plenty of food and drink options, and vendors to peruse. A laid-back awards ceremony takes place at 2 p.m. The park is adjacent to Ocean Golf Course, about a 15 to 20-minute drive from the Kiawah Island entrance. The event takes place rain or shine.

Hosted by the Kiawah Island Motoring Retreat, proceeds go to the Barrier Islands Free Medical Center, which provides free medical care for low income adults who live or work on Johns, James or Wadmalaw islands.

Stay in one of our Kiawah Island vacation rentals for easy access to the show.
