The slate of Easter activities starts with an Easter Sunrise at 6:45 a.m. on April 12 at Sanctuary Beach. A non-denominations service is hosted by the Church of Our Savior, an Anglican community.
Then the kids can enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt and Toss starting at 10 a.m. at Night Heron Park on Easter Sunday, April 12. Age groups will be divided prior to the hunt, which starts promptly at 10 a.m. (Bring your own basket). The Easter Egg toss directly follows the Egg Hunt. You can also get a photo with the Easter Bunny starting at 9:30 a.m. Admission is free.
Later on Easter Sunday, the Sand Sculpting Contest takes place from 1:30 to 3 p.m., also at the Sanctuary Beach Access, with prizes awarded for most creative, best teamwork and best Easter-themed sculpture.
Then an unusual Easter event takes place from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Night Heron Park Children’s Pool with an H2O Egg Hunt. Jump into the pool and search your way around for the Easter Eggs. This event is complimentary and open to everyone.

Wild Dunes Resort
At Wild Dunes Resort, the activities start on Saturday, April 11 with Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at 8:30 a.m. at Billy G’s Smokehouse.
The complimentary Golden Egg Hunt also takes place on April 11 as the eggs are hidden throughout the resort starting at noon, and clues are available at the Swim Center until 4 p.m. Use the clues to find the eggs before the Hunt ends at 7 p.m.

The complimentary Easter Egg Dash takes place on Sunday, April 12 starting at 9 a.m. This is a fast-paced race, so don’t be late. Children 10 and younger are invited to bring their baskets to the North Croquet Lawn where more than 3,000 candy and toy-filled eggs are hidden.
Then, of course, you can enjoy an Easter Brunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Billy G’s Smokehouse. This is a splendid layout of cold buffet items like fresh fruit, breakfast breads, a cheese board, and more. The hot buffet includes eggs, French toast, grilled breakfast potatoes, Cheddar cheese Geetchie boy grits, bacon and sausage and stewed collards. You can also have a made-to-order omelet, carved ham and prime rib, and dessert.

If you’re staying in Isle of Palms, its annual Easter Egg Hunt starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 11 at the Isle of Palms Recreation Center, No. 24 28th Ave. Hunt for eggs, meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy jump castles, snow cones, cotton candy, face painting, photo booth, and more. In the event of rain, festivities move to the gym.
