Basket Weaving 101

Playing with Fire
Take home the perfect Lowcountry souvenir by becoming your own blacksmith through the Resort’s Playing with Fire workshop. Choose from a fire poker, oyster shucker, bottle opener or iron rose to forge in the fire to take home as a memento.
Go Blue!
Indigo is South Carolina’s blue gold. Take the Indigo Dye Workshop to learn how the indigo dye is made. Participants practice Shibori techniques (ferment, add lye, dry and grind) to create a set of napkins or scarves. No experience is necessary.
