Description

Welcome to 216A Sea Cabin — a breezy, ocean-front escape tucked into the heart of Isle of Palms, SC. This cozy, beachy condo invites you to unwind the moment you arrive: a short private boardwalk leads you directly to the soft sand and waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

Inside, you’ll find a welcoming and efficient space: one comfortable bedroom, built-in hallway bunk beds for extra guests, and a sofa bed in the living area — ideal for a couple, a small family, or a few friends. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to whip up morning coffee or a casual dinner, and the living area opens to a balcony where you can sip your coffee as the sun rises over the ocean.

From your front-row perch at the beach, you can stroll to nearby casual restaurants, little shops, or bicycle around the island. After a day in the sun, return to the shared pool or fire up a grill for a cookout, then settle in with Wi-Fi and cable for a relaxing evening.

216A mixes the casual charm of a beach cottage with the convenience of modern comforts — a simple, relaxing coastal retreat just steps from the sand.

The City of Isle of Palms recently announced that they will be conducting a beach renourishment project designed to restore and protect the island's shoreline. The work is planned for July - November 2026, specifically this area September - November. During your summer vacation, you may see construction equipment, pipelines, or temporary work zones on portions of the beach. Work areas will move throughout the project, and beach access may be adjusted in localized sections while construction is underway.

Property is older, but the owners have done a nice job of making the most of its' potential. The space is limited, but for us that was offset by the fair pricing. Property is on the beach; this unit has direct view of the ocean.

Another amazing time

Sweetgrass management company did an awesome job preparing my favorite Sea Cabin on the island. Immaculately clean, fresh linens and everything in place. Sea Cabins are the perfect getaway

Convenient location, nice ocean view

Easy access from Isle of Palms connector bridge, parking was easy and close to unit. Plenty of clean towels. AC was good, pretty quiet. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet. Beach and pool access was great, Self-service laundry facility was close by and worked well. A short pleasant walk to a popular breakfast/coffee place. The only thing that bugged me was that in a time when virtually all TV programming is in HD or 4K, the only channels available were standard definition TV. There are probably young people who have never even seen Standard definition TV, but if you were looking forward to watching March Madness, golf, base ball or pretty much anything, it's virtually unwatchable. There was no remote control for the TV in the bedroom, but I wouldn't have watched anyway. Normally I wouldn't care much about the quality of the TV, but it was March Madness week, so I cared.
