This little gem was a perfect get away on Kiawah Island. The accommodations had everything you would need: comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen, nice size refrigerator, washer and dryer, and a lovely outdoor seating area overlooking a lake. The place is a short 5 minute walk from the beach. It was the perfect size for 2 people. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We loved our stay here! The condo had everything we needed and was so clean and comfortable. Spine problems often make sleeping a challenge, but the mattress was perfect. Any time we weren’t sitting on the screened-in porch, we were enjoying a short walk in the neighborhood or lounging on the beach steps away. We very much hope to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay. Our condo was spotless clean. A beautiful beach awaited us after a very short walk through the palm and oak trees. All of the amenities on the island are first rate, with ample choices for dining or shopping. Looking forward to a return visit!

Two of us stayed 5 days in mid-March. Perfect location to the beach with the boardwalk steps within less than a 2-minute walk. The location was quiet at the end of a cul-de-sac. The unit itself was clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and there's plenty of storage for clothes. Shower water pressure and hot water availability were outstanding. Towels were certainly enough for the two of us. Kitchen/LR was clean and spacious enough for us. I would definitely stay at this unit again. Not taking anything away from the above, I would have preferred to not have to strip the beds, throw out the last of the trash and leave the refrigerator completely empty (our fault for buying too much but a terrible waste of almost a dozen eggs, various cans, coffee, etc.) Also, I know that Sweetgrass clearly indicates they provide an initial 2-day supply of certain items but would it really kill them to base that the length of stay? Why force guests to have to either bring or go out and buy hand soap, shampoo, paper towels, toilet paper if they run out? Two coffee makers were provided with one a K-pod machine. How hard would it be to provide a few pods to start? Perhaps I'm being nit-picky, but I've stayed at Airbnb's that provided all of that and more.

We would highly recommend the community of Kiawah Island. My Wife and I traveled here to celebrate my God Son's Wedding Day at Wingate Place on Johns Island. Hence, a perfect beach getaway that was close to his wedding. We decided to stay a week in celebrating our fifth anniversary. Your 1 bedroom was perfect for a wonderful beach vacation that was an easy walk to the beach. We do recommend that Island access point 16 be turned on for cleaning of sand from our chairs and beach shoes. Beautiful sunny October weather with plenty of sea life of sand dollars, star fish, and crabs. Being on the beach in October. God is good.

The location of this villa is wonderful! Very short walk to the beach and the villa complex is very well maintained. Close to pools and The Sanctuary. The unit was decorated very nicely but the only suggestion I have would be to clean the upholstered furniture and the cushions on the screened in porch furniture and the front door needs attention. The door was difficult to shut and the framing around the door is pretty beat up...looks like the front door has been an issue for a while. All in all, a great place to say.

Me, my husband, and young baby stayed at Mariners Watch and it was the perfect getaway. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and Night Heron park. We loved enjoying our morning coffee on the back porch overlooking the lagoon. The bed was very comfortable too. We can’t wait to come back.

Another great stay at Kiawah. Sweetgrass is easy to work with, professional, good customer service, good communication. The unit was nice. The couch is showing it's age with wear stains. So is the carpet in the bedroom. We had more roaches than usual, but that's pretty common in these units. Easy access to the beach, nice screened in porch. Nice, firm, newer mattress.

The staff at Sweetgrass was always so nice and responsive when we had a question. In fact, my husband left his electric razor when we left and when I reported it the staff was very helpful and promptly let me know if was found and they were returning it to us. The villa was very nice and very convenient to the beach. One suggestion I would have is the owner might want to consider have the grout of the floors in the bathroom and kitchen area cleaned. Would also suggest adding a measuring cup and more measuring spoons. Other than those items, everything was excellent.

The vaulted ceilings and light decor give this condo a bright, airy feeling. I thought it was clean and well kept, and you can’t beat the location next to Night Heron park, and a stone’s throw to the beach and bike trails. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this condo again.

This has a lovely back porch that looks out over a walking/biking trail and a canal. It was basically clean and adequately decorated. We were a little disappointed at the lack of attention to detail. There was ONE wineglass and 2 coffee mugs. This seems a little petty to complain about, but really, in a locale like Kiawah, and everything seems to come with a premium price tag—why would you not spring for a few more dishes and make it a 5-star experience than just “good enough??” The WiFi was very spotty, also, which may be unavoidable. And on our final day we killed two large cockroaches—one during the day and the other while we were relaxing in the evening. Granted, it’s a low-lying area near the water and the bugs were moving a little slower than typical, which indicates there is probably poison, but still. Anyway, this was a good property but it could be exceptional with a few easy fixes.

The unit was perfectly sized for me and the location was wonderful. The closeness to the beach and the miles of walking and biking trails were great. Had a minor maintenance issue and Mgmt was there within 15 minutes. Felt extremely safe in the gated community too…..one suggestion would be rug cleaning/replacement in bedroom and kitchen but overall really enjoyed my stay and would rent again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at 4245 Mariners Watch on Kiawah. The unit was exactly as described and even had a starter supply of the items we might need for our week's stay. We had bikes, chairs and a sun umbrella delivered ahead of time and they were there when we arrived. The bike paths were GREAT and we were at the beach every afternoon. The island location was perfect and we would definitely stay there again.

While the unit was clean, close to the beach, with a nice patio view the only small thing I can say that would need improvement would be to get a new front door. I had to pull the door handle so hard I felt like I was going to break the door handle trying to close the door every day. I’m not a door expert, but something tells me a door shouldn’t be that hard to close. On a positive note, the short 2 minute walk to the beach was extremely nice.

This was the perfect unit for our week-long stay. Great view of the long behind the house, with wild egrets, fish, and alligators making surprise appearances during my morning coffee. The unit is the perfect size for 2, and all appliances (w/d, dishwasher, stove/microwave, food disposal) worked great. Bonus - there are two reclining beach chairs included! Thanks for everything!

My husband and I had a very nice stay in our villa at Mariner's Watch! The place was so cute and a great size for the two of us, and it was clean. The personal touches of having the music on when we entered was really nice. Having the washer/dryer on the screened porch was a great benefit. The bed was very comfortable, so we slept well. The kitchen was truly fully equipped. We had an umbrella and two chairs inside with the washer and dryer, too. 3 minute walk in the shade to the beach, and it was a quiet part of the beach, too. We had a minor issue of having to have maintenance come in to fix our tub drain, but they were very responsive with being timely to care for it. Some suggestions for this location is to have a fan on the screened porch; we would have used it more if this had been available. A light in the shower would be helpful. Also, I struggled with the door locking, but my husband was able to jimmy it, so it worked. This being said we would happily stay there again!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this small condo. It is perfect for two people. The bed was very comfortable. The screened back porch was perfect for recharging while gazing at the pond. It was just a short walk to the beach. The complex was very quiet. We hope to return later in the year!

We had the best vacation. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The location was great, of course having ocean front would be optimal, however this was very very close and having the quiet pond outside our screened in patio and right above the bike path was wonderful. I looked forward to my having my morning coffee and listening to the pond come alive. The management company was EXCELLENT. The check in/out info was very clear and getting on the island was very easy to navigate given the info sent. They were very attentive and responded to my inquiries in a very timely manner. I emailed suggestions earlier but I will rewrite them here. We had a heck of a time with the tv. OMG. We finally realized that the remotes were mixed up in the two rooms. I spent so much time trying to figure it out. Maybe label the remotes bedroom and front room. The welcome material was very nice, however a paper map of the island with the bike paths would be helpful for newcomers. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was great and having the beach chairs was a definite plus!! I REALLY needed this break and It was so relaxing. I am hoping to make this a yearly trip. Everything was perfect. Going on vacation during the corona virus we were very nervous. As soon as we walked in we were put at ease. Everything was so clean. There wasn’t one thing that we needed that wasn’t provided. The beach was great. Like our own private getaway.would definitely come back. Have already recommended it to our friends.
