The home is absolutely gorgeous and is very spacious! It looks even better than the pictures. It's a very easy walk to the beach and they also provide a wagon to carry beach chairs and other items to the beach. The property manager was super helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our first time renting 12 Surfsong and it was lovely. Spacious house with high ceilings and high end furnishings. Beds were super comfortable, so we slept really well! We especially enjoyed the back deck looking onto the lagoon. It was perfect for us.

My husband, myself and our two kids stayed at this home for Fall Break. It was right across the street from the beach access we like going to which made for a quick 5 minute bike ride to the beach. This home is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well stocked so you can cook just about anything. The home is all single level living with two bedrooms that have King beds and en-suite bathrooms so two families could easily stay there and have plenty of room to spread out. Sweetgrass is such a great property management company. We have worked with them twice and we have been very pleased both times. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at 12 Surfsong. It is a very comfortable and well appointed home, in between Beach Path 31 and 32. The kitchen equipment is well above average compared to other Kiawah rentals, and the beds are all very comfortable. Good internet and Apple TV all added to the enjoyment of the property. We look forward to visiting 12 Surfsong again next year.

Great location with only a short walk to the beach (access 32). House was perfect for extended 3 generation family vacation. Wonderful chef’s kitchen meant we cooked all our meals in. Bike and baby equipment rentals were simple as always. Good response when we needed a replacement propane tank for the grill. The person who brought it was friendly and shared info on local wildlife. Kiawah is perfect for beach and nature lovers.

The home was perfect for our needs. That all bedrooms are on one level made it easy on our multi-generational family to spend time with each other. The cleaning crew needs additional training though! Their dusting was below par and had mismatched dishes located haphazardly. Otherwise, this is an exceptional rental. Thank you for making our stay comfortable.

Beautiful home that is very nicely appointed.....but needs some attention in a few areas. Good location. Easy 6 - 7 minute walk to beach. Indoor and outdoor lights need attention.....no 3-way bulbs in house and most outdoor lights need to be replaced. Front door sticks and is difficult to open and close. Screened porch furniture isn't up the that of the rest of the home and needs to be upgraded.

We had a wonderful extended stay at this home - it was a perfect place to relax, work remotely, and enjoy everything Kiawah has to offer (e.g. 5 mins from the beach; patio that looks over the lagoon). The house is beautifully designed and set up - light filled, well furnished, stocked with every amenity a guest could need. We had a wonderful vacation and can't wait to return.

We are a family of 3 with a daughter (12) so we have never rented homes while traveling. This first experience was a great one! We would definitely rent this one again. I believe it is centrally located...most importantly it's very near the beach (walk or bike). It's also near the Sanctuary and other clubs for dining and activities.

Look no further -- this house is perfect! The house combines serious comfort with beautiful design and stunning artwork making for a relaxing and enjoyable space. The fabulous feel of the open plan dining and living area made each evening an event as our family gathered to hang out, share our day and dine together. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and a pleasure to cook in, w windows along two walls letting in the sunshine and the surrounding green of the lush foliage. The house is a very short shaded walk to both the beach and the bike trails that wind throughout the island, making exploration by bike an easy pleasure for all ages. When not on the beach or on the trails, my family enjoyed the secluded feel of the back deck and the screened in porch. From the deck we enjoyed following the movements of wildlife around the pond as we had our morning coffee or our evening meal. We also noticed that everyone slept well, as the bedrooms were very comfortable, quiet and had the thoughtful feature of high quality blackout curtains. You will exhale in this home and find it very easy to settle in and enjoy island life. My family unanimously agreed that this is the best vacation house we have ever visited!

Sweetgrass Vacation Rentals was a pleasure to deal with. The entire rental process from start to finish couldn’t have been easier or more pleasant, and the staff were extremely responsive in dealing with any questions that arose. We have dealt with many rental agencies or rentals-by-owner over the years, and this was our best experience of all of them. We absolutely loved this house! It was spacious, beautifully decorated, perfectly laid out and appointed, and very close to the beach (5 minute walk). It was perfect for our family of six (parents with four teen- and young adult children). The location was quiet, the view from the back deck lovely. Everything inside the home was new, clean and in excellent shape — we couldn’t have asked for more. We loved EVERYTHING about this home, the ease of dealing with the property management company & responsiveness, and the location of the home. This was our third vacation on Kiawah Island and our favorite house. We can’t wait to come back!
