Perfectly positioned on a quiet, private cul‑de‑sac just a short stroll from the beach and the private Pelican Bay community pool. Guests love how effortless it is to go from morning coffee to sandy toes or a refreshing dip in the pool within minutes.

Inside, the first level offers a warm and welcoming living space with comfortable furnishings, an inviting dining area, and a beautifully expanded and renovated kitchen. The open and bright layout makes it easy for everyone to gather, relax, and enjoy the home’s stylish coastal decor. There is a convenient first‑floor bedroom with a full bed and full bathroom, accessed from the hallway. Off of the living room area, you’ll find a large covered deck and screened porch. These outdoor living areas are perfect unwinding in the coastal breeze without ever leaving the comfort of home.

Upstairs, three additional bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements. The primary suite features a king bed and private bath The remaining two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a twin‑over‑full bunk plus an additional twin, share a hall bathroom. A second large open deck on this level provides even more space for lounging and sunbathing under the Carolina sky.

The decks both upstairs and down are wonderful for entertaining and enjoying the great outdoors. 48 Pelican Bay is an elevated home which allows for convenient parking and storage underneath.

Our properties DO NOT have access to the Wild Dunes Resort Pools or Fitness Center.

Other activities on the Isle of Palms include, golfing at Wild Dunes, IOP recreation center (tennis, pickleball, cardio room), kayaking, dolphin watching, crabbing and fishing, walking along the three mile stretch of sandy beach, combing the shoreline for shells and other treasures, or just simply enjoying the island life.

The Vrbo in Isle of Palms was great, very comfortable and in a great location. It was only a couple blocks from the beach and had a great screened in porch that we used a lot. Isle of Palms is a very nice community and easy access to Charleston. Check in was very easy I would definitely stay there again.

Overall a comfortable and well equipped home from the perspective of our group of four ladies. Very clean and well lit given that it is located in a leafy lot with not a lot of natural light. Only negatives: all beds need new pillows and there was no information in the home as to resort amenities, location of pool and beach access. We did find both the pool (though it was closed) and beach access easily. The home is also very, very close to neighbors. The home also has an outside elevator though we did not have access to it during our stay.

Our party of six had a great time over the Labor Day weekend. The house was comfortable and well appointed. The convenient beach access nearby was a bonus. We especially enjoyed hanging out on the screened porch in the mornings. A very peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

The home was located close enough to the beach to hear the tide from the porch. It was an easy walk to both Pool and Beach. The Wild Dunes beach itself was clean and not too crowded. One surprise perk was the elevator which we used to when we unloaded on day 1. The house was comfortable for our group of 6 adults + 1 toddler. The space was adequate...although the living room was on the small side and didn't really accommodate everyone at the same time. We used the screened porch as an overflow. Some string lights would make a nice addition to the porch for ambiance. The large dining table was perfect and the kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. The beds were comfy and plenty of linens/towels/etc for everyone. Bed pillows were kind of hard so softer options would be good. Overall, it was a great stay and the home met our needs!

Sweetgrass was a wonderful rental company, which provided great customer service! The house was very nice and served our needs well. The landscaping at the house could be cleaned up/improved so that it looks nicer, but that is a suggestion and not a need. This house is “tucked” into the culdesac so it’s not a “full size” driveway. Had trouble with the front door lock, but Sweetgrass immediately fixed that. It has been redone inside, it appears, and the improvements are nice.

We enjoyed the beautiful house! And yes, the screened in porch was a perfect end to the day. It would be helpful to have maps of path to beach. 30 min drive to Charleston is easy trip . Did realize that best to make reservations to local restaurants . Boat house and Long Island restaurants were excellent! Wish we had option to use the golf cart esp taking beach things closer to beach . Maybe could list options of where to park if did drive to beach near house . Shells are amazing too!

The house was cute and clean and had everything we needed. Easy 5 min walk to the beach, and the screened in porch was an added bonus. We loved biking around the neighborhood, to the Marina Market, and out to dinner. Sweetgrass Properties was lovely to work with and I particularly appreciated the emailed gate passes, the lock box for the keys, the quick response to questions, and the clear directions for check in/out.

We did a "Girls Trip" and we all agreed on this home. It was spacious and very clean. We loved the screened in porch, it was where we spent most of our time when we weren't at the beach. We would definitely recommend.

Had a great week with our family including two Grandchildren ages 5 & 2. The house was quick walk to the beach or to the even closer pool. Perfect location with afternoon shade on quiet street to toss a ball or airplane glider. The house was clean and we loved the screened porch for extra living space.

Overall I thought this was a great rental! Sweetgrass properties was super easy to work with! The living space for the house was smaller than I thought via the pictures but it was nice and clean and the bedroom space was perfect! I would totally use sweetgrass properties again!

What a comfortable place to return to after spending the day at the beach! This property has a homey, well kept feeling, with comfortable furniture, a large dining table, and ample bedroom and closet space. It is a short distance from the water and the Wild Dunes resort. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my family (including two young children) to stay.
