The main living room features elegant, coffered ceilings, custom built-ins that flank a gas fireplace, and wall to wall windows and glass doors that open onto the pool deck. Comfortable seating makes it a perfect gathering place for families and friends. The bright and modern eat-in kitchen includes: french-style cabinetry with beadboard accents, large center island with breakfast bar seating for four, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the pool, and direct access to the screened porch.
Just beyond the kitchen is a built-in desk area, pantry, laundry room, and utility space.

Unlike many Kiawah rentals, this home offers a completely private pool and outdoor living area—perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach, biking the island trails, or playing one of Kiawah’s championship golf courses. Enjoy your own private saltwater pool with sun shelf and spa, surrounded by a spacious deck perfect for lounging, grilling, and alfresco dining. Cable railing provides unobstructed views of the lush maritime forest surroundings. The screened porch offers a relaxing place to unwind year-round.

The homeowners have also provided beach chairs, beach towels, a ping pong table, and board games for rainy day fun.  Additionally there is free wireless internet access.

We had a wonderful stay at this 4-bedroom home on Kiawah Island. The house was spotless, very comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—from a fully equipped kitchen to plenty of towels, including beach towels. The pool was a perfect bonus, and the location on Kiawah couldn’t have been better. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we would happily return.

59 Goldenrod is a great house on our favorite island! They have stocked it with all the essentials including beach towels galore, pool toys and beach items. The pool is big and in the sun ALL day, which we loved!

Great place to stay. The kids loved the pool and spa. The adults loved the open floor plan and the house was very clean. Good location and perfect place to enjoy family and friends. The front door automatically locked me out when I got there, but Sweetgrass was able to come about an hour later (after hours) to let me in. Thank you for letting us rent your house!

I've been coming to Kiawah for almost 20 years. This is by far the nicest home we have ever had the pleasure of staying. The pool and hot tub were beautiful with lots of fun rafts and toys to play with. They also supplied towels which was very nice. The kitchen was really well equipped for cooking which we love to do, complete with an extra "spice drawer" for fun sampling. The house itself is just spectacular and SUPER clean. The bedding was super cozy with lots of extra blankets. The decor was simple and elegant. Sweetgrass did a top notch job of answering questions and responding in a very timely manner. We can't wait to come back!!

The family, both adults and children ages 13 to 9, loved the house and pool. Really well stocked kitchen with all we needed to prepare our meals. Lots of room for card and board games. Lovely pool. Quiet safe cup de sac.

Excellent stay. Pool and house were perfect! Quick 8 minute bike ride down the Flyway trail to boardwalk #32 to get to the beach. We had a wonderful time staying here with our 6 month old and a first trip as a small family we will never forget!

Fantastic property. This house has every amenity one could possibly need. The kitchen is completely stocked with every type of cooking pot, pan and utensil one could need. The house is well laid out for large families or multiple families. The pool and jacuzzi are a wonderful addition. Beds are incredibly comfortable. I can't say enough about this beautiful property. Its feels like a home away from home. I'd definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed at the luxurious Goldenrod and it was an absolute dream! From the moment we pulled into the driveway, we were surrounded by lush vegetation, creating a serene and private oasis. With spacious bedrooms, including comfortable king beds and private bathrooms, our large group had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The kids loved the bunk bed room and the game/movie room was a hit! The kids also enjoyed intense ping pong tournaments while us grownups relaxed after long days outside. The heated pool and hot tub were enjoyed immensely daily and in the evenings. The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep and cooking a breeze, all with a view of that stunning pool/hot tub. The screened porch was very inviting and well appointed. The entire property was impeccably clean, and the attention to detail was evident. I can't say enough good things about this property. This house is not beach front - but it really doesn't matter. The beach is an easy 10-min bike ride (which is glorious even before you reach the beach) and even easier car ride. The house comes with plenty of beach gear/chairs to pack in your car and its super easy to park at the beach access points. The beach is not crowded and beautiful with packed sand, perfect for bike cruising. Nearby restaurants are fabulous too. I've already booked our next stay and I cannot wait!

What an amazing house! The pool and hot tub felt totally secluded and relaxing (just what we were looking for). There’s a clear view of the pool from the living room and kitchen, which was perfect to keep an eye on the kids while they thought they got some unsupervised fun. The screened in porch was the perfect spot to have coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. The two refrigerators gave us ample space to store all our breakfast and lunch food, and some great dinner spots were just a short ride away. The beach is also very close (so close some of us biked there!), and very clean and did not feel crowded at all. The beds were comfortable and cozy, and I always love a fun bunk bed room. I also really appreciated that there were plenty of beach towels there for our use, and the toiletries were clean brands I would actually use at home. This house was the perfect size for the eight of us - plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, and also gather to have meals together or have fun in the pool. If this house is available on our next trip, we will definitely book it again.

The kitchen was luxurious and spacious. The pool and hot tub were surrounded by Kiawah flora and fauna and the sounds of peaceful nature. We had our best sleep in years. The beds were super comfortable. This house is a dream come true for a vacationer. If I could give it 6 stars out of 5, I would!

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home! We have been fortunate to rent vacation homes across the US and globe. This house certainly stands out as one of the best. Not only is the layout extremely functional for a family -- large, fully stocked gourmet kitchen, big dining room table and open living room floorplan -- but we loved the way it was furnished. It was clear from the moment we walked in that this was not your typical "rental home", but rather a true second home. Most of the furniture seemed to come from Restoration Hardware. The beds were VERY comfortable as were the linens. The owners did not spare any cost on this home. We loved all the natural light and floor to ceiling windows. The pool and outdoor deck were also sublime. We also found the location to be extremely convenient to everything we wanted to do. We had a great stay and will definitely make a pint to come back to 59 Goldenrod Ct.

This house did not disappoint. I have been lucky enough to stay at many other rentals around the world whose photos and descriptions were misleading and disappointing…not this one! The whole house very well maintained and luxuriously appointed. Not like normal rentals that you can tell the nice stuff is in the owners closet. I am big cook, and was extra impressed with the kitchen. It had everything you needed from a tool perspective to make any kind of meal, and the best part is they had pantry basics- nice spices, olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, and k- cups! The pool had plenty of places to lounge or eat, and lots of floaty things for kids and adults. Will be visiting this house again!

This beautiful, quiet, light-filled home did not disappoint. It is in pristine condition with every imaginable comfort from its well equipped gourmet kitchen to its well designed and comfortable beds, baths and spacious living spaces. It deserves more than the maximum of the 5 stars. The photos don't lie. It is every bit as perfect as it looks!
