Ideal Spot for a Family Reunion

After visiting Kiawah 20+ times over the past 45 years, we brought family together from both coasts to celebrate milestones and relax for a week in late June. The home was nicely updated, had plenty of space, was well-furnished and comfortable in every room. We prepared and ate every meal in the incredible kitchen with sub zero and wolf appliances, but the hit of the week had to be the separate ice maker. We had plentiful ice for drinks, beach coolers and it kept up well with demand, supplemented at times by the freezer ice. The home was also equipped with games, newer TVs in each room for streaming and Sonos on the main level and back porch. Beach ramp 12 off Eugenia was a great (less crowded) recommendation, short bike ride or easy drop off for car riders vs Night Heron Park. The small pool was a nice shaded option for a dip in the afternoons if you wanted to get out of the sun. Kiawah remains a small slice of protected paradise on earth, and 508 Ruddy Turnstone is a lovely way to spend time enjoying it!

Wonderful location. Close to everything. Beautiful Property with a great setting. Loved the back porch as the rain came down. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool and everything was perfect. Just the right amount of essentials on site to get us through the first day. Loved the main bedroom shower.

We had a great trip. The house is wonderful for our 8 person family and two children. The kitchen and pool were very well equipped. The beds were comfortable and all the rooms were large with high end furniture and accessories. The ping pong table was an added bonus with the rain. We loved this house and want to return! The pool is like being in a pool in a tree house. So many beautiful plantings and lush greenery. Thank you for making our stay great…complete with a Sonos system that we used constantly.

We rented the home so that we could be together with family over Thanksgiving and had a lovely time! The home had been recently renovated and was beautifully appointed . The kitchen was a great layout for us to be able to cook together and both eating spaces easily accommodated our group of 9! The bedroom/bathroom configuration was a perfect set up for us with 4 rooms having either queen or king sized beds. I highly recommend this home and Kiawah Island as a family vacation spot!

We loved this home! The house had everything we needed and it was beautifully appointed with all new furnishings. We also appreciated the lush and private setting. The location was so convenient - quick ride to the beach and to the shops at Fresh Fields and walkable to the Nest Cafe and Night Heron Park. We're looking forward to our next stay!
