Welcome to Low Oak Woods!  This incredible 7 bedroom home with a unique open architectural lay-out is located in Kiawah Island's sought-after West Beach area and sits just one block from the ocean and sandy shores of the prestigious golf resort.  The home itself features two screened porches, scenic views of the surrounding maritime forest, and a grand central living room that makes it ideal for hosting friends and family.  Because of the homes open walkways and lay-out, it is full of natural light and provides a welcoming atmosphere throughout the home.  There are two king suites located on the main first level of the home, both with private bathrooms.  The remaining five bedrooms (3 queens, 1 double, and 2 twins) are on the second level of home, and all of these rooms have access to two different shared hallways bathrooms.  It's perfect for large groups and we'd love to host your for your next Charleston beach vacation!

We had 11 people. This house comfortably accommodated all of us. Great layout, nice bedrooms. We like to cook and plenty of dishes, pots, pans, silverware, utensils, etc. The location to the beach for the price about as good as it gets.

Our whole family (ages 2-72) enjoyed staying in this wonderful home. The location is perfect for getting to the beach, taking advantage of Night Heron Park, and getting off-Island quickly for shopping or entertainment elsewhere. The kitchen is large, bright and generally very well-stocked, but items were haphazardly stored so hard to locate - better organization and some labels inside the cabinets would help. We didn't see the sought-after muffin tin until our last day as it was piled under serving platters. For such a spacious kitchen, the work triangle is tight so it takes some adjustment to allow for multiple cooks and clean-up crew to work. The large adjoining laundry/pantry/utility room is so convenient and functional, with an additional staircase as well as an extra fridge. Very family-friendly. The striking open layout has both plusses and minuses: you can keep an eye and ear on kids almost anywhere in the house, but that does mean that sounds travel. We read on the huge sectional sofa instead of watching TV after the kids went to bed, but we consider that a plus. Several family members remarked on how comfortable the beds and pillows were. Two screened porches make for relaxing, shady outdoor spaces, and the grilling deck is nice. The 3-car garage provides neat storage for loads of bikes and beach gear. The rental team at Sweetgrass is very responsive and helpful. We would love to return!

This was the perfect house for our two families to gather for our son and future daughter in law's beach proposal. The house is just a short walk to the beach. The two master bedrooms were perfect for our group, and the other bedrooms were upstairs. The large kitchen was perfect for serving meals and was well equipped with anything you might need. Sweetgrass Properties was so easy to work with and prompt in answering any questions we had. It was the absolute perfect house for our weekend on the island.

We love this house - its location, its spaciousness, and its kitchen! Sweetgrass Properties added a nice touch this time around (we’ve rented this house for the week of Thanksgiving each year over the past 3 or 4 years). Shortly after we arrived, a young lady knocked on our door and introduced herself to me. She was checking to see if we needed anything. She had some glass cooking pans which my wife greatly appreciated. My wife requested an additional key for the house. After she left I saw her with a blower blowing off our driveway and walkway and I was totally impressed!! And a day later she was back with a key - impressed again! Great personal touch! Thank you.

Lovely Home; comfortable beds and furniture; nicely appointed. Great beach location to access. Nice porches on both levels. Sweetgrass staff were easily accessible and very helpful and thoughtful!! "Thank you" for helping us gain entry [key box] and carrying luggage upstairs as women friends had various levels of capability. Also please provide garage code initially to get into home; much easier access through the garage. Good kitchen and dining area. Due to open area, sound can be heard across rooms; could use more dishware for cooking and food preparation. There were no kitchen towels. Renters should be advised of the STEPS to access the main floor from all entrances. Overall good experience.

We always look forward to our stays at 374 Low Oak Woods for the week of Thanksgiving. It provides plenty of room for our large family including three-car garage parking. It’s also at a great location on the island with quick access to the beach and to Night Heron Park.

We loved the house! It was perfect for our needs and was in awesome shape! The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen was setup perfectly for cooking for a big group. We are already planning our next stay here!

We rented a house to stay with family during a wedding in the Charleston area. The house was roomy and well appointed. I do wish it had one more full bathroom but we were just fine the way it was. Sweetgrass was easy to work with from original booking all the way through check out. Definitely would rent again in the future if the need arrises.
