The main level features a bright family room, Brazilian hardwood flooring throughout, four queen bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and TV, and access to a covered deck. Upstairs, the open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area is designed for gathering, with ample seating, a fully stocked kitchen, and access to another covered porch. The enormous backyard is a guest favorite, featuring a private saltwater pool (approximately 3–5 feet deep), lounge chairs, and plenty of room for outdoor games and grilling.

  • Other activities on the Isle of Palms include, golfing at Wild Dunes, IOP recreation center (tennis, pickleball, cardio room), kayaking, dolphin watching, crabbing and fishing, walking along the three mile stretch of sandy beach, combing the shoreline for shells and other treasures, or just simply enjoying the island life.
  • This house is not a party house and events are not allowed.  We want you to enjoy your visit and have a good time, but please be mindful of your noise level and occupancy allowances. Isle of Palms has a noise ordinance from 10PM to 10AM.  No more than 12 adults should be occupying the home. Also, please be respectful of the property furnishings, amenities, and neighboring homes. Please refrain from hanging decorations on walls and surfaces. We had 12 guests and everyone enjoyed their stay. Sweet grass answered all my questions almost immediately. The elevator was inoperable at first. They had someone out in a few hours. Overall VERY pleased. A neat, well kept property.

Great house! My siblings, their spouses, my sister in law and her husband have been taking an after Thanksgiving trip for 12 years now. This was one of our favorite places The house and location were perfect! Lots of things to do, easy driving, and good, close places to eat. We loved it!

We had a great stay at 15 42nd Street! We arrived to a bit of a musty smelling beach house, but nothing that some air fresheners couldn’t help. Big hole in the ceiling on the second floor that no one warned us about?? Guessing it was related to the hurricane passing through. Dishwasher was not run from previous tenants and floors did not seem to be vacuumed. A table near the Pool area would have been nice, but we made do. Overall it was a great trip! Management team was quick to respond to any requests. GREAT location!! Thank you Sweetgrass for a great stay, we can’t wait to return soon!

Our extended family enjoyed our stay at 15 42nd Ave. The house was very clean, and it easily accommodated 6 couples. We really appreciated that each bedroom had its own bath (note that the two upstairs kings and one of the downstairs queens had dual access from a hallway, so not entirely private), and the beds were comfortable. The elevator was great for those of us who don't get around so easily. We also enjoyed the saltwater pool, perfect for a peaceful float under the oaks in the afternoon. And it was just a short haul to the beach. Our only complaint was that the house seemed underfurnished...no functional coffee tables or side tables, no tables for games or puzzles, no desks for those who had to work during the week, and not enough bedside lamps. All in all, though, we liked the house and would stay again.

This house was really pretty perfect for our extended family of 11. The number of bedrooms and baths, the two "living areas", the two porches, the roof top, the pool and the close proximity to the beach made this an ideal location. The bathrooms were all re-done within the last year, and we were impressed with the additional updates to furnishings from the day we had booked our trip. We dealt with a problem attributed to the air conditioning unit that leaked from the second floor through the ceiling of the first floor, but it was corrected within 24 hours. The emergency contact connected us with the owner's contractor, who made a personal visit to make a temporary fix, and the A/C person came the next day. Recommendations for improvements including adding some basic tools to the kitchen, like pot holders (there were NONE), dish towels (we had only 2 for the week) and a large non-stick skillet. Otherwise, the kitchen was sufficient. The laundry area is awkward--the doors open into the wall and would seem to be more efficient if stacked or relocated to the pantry space (it's also adjacent to the master suite's bathroom). All in all, we were happy to find this property and look forward to Summer 2023 :-)

Everything in the house looked amazing. We only had 2 issues and they were addressed immediately. The pool had a lot of leaves in it when we checked in pretty late and I sent an email and the had pool guys out the very next morning. Then we had a plumbing emergency with water coming through the ceiling and they had someone at the house within 30 minutes. I found that to be an extremely impressive response time and highly recommended this vacation rental to anyone looking for a nice relaxing place to stay.

This home is beautiful and easily accommodated our group of 10. There is plenty of space so that we could all be together but also have privacy, too. There are a few minor house keeping issues that need to be addressed; however, customer support is extremely responsive and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Any issues that were originally found with the house were rectified appropriately and management company was extremely responsive and accommodating. Our family had a great time on the trip and would definitely be interested in doing something like this again.

Amazing property so close to tons of different activities. Plenty of space, bathrooms, rooms, etc. It was very clean as well. The only downside was we had to purchase our own beach towels, blankets, etc. as there was no beach materials provided (like chairs). Overall great stay, easy check in, clean, we had a blast.

The house was great! We all had plenty of space and it was clean and ready for us! My only criticism is that the listing did say a heated pool, but when we arrived it was not hated and the pool guy stated it has been broken for a "long time". It was still fabulous and we would definitely stay here again.

The best part was how close we were to the beach...one block away and direct access! The house was a great size for our group during a pandemic! Four teenagers each got their own room. Huge dining table/area perfect for fun, loud meals and card games. The house was clean and had most of what we needed -- make sure to bring extra trash bags, dishwashing detergent and laundry detergent!

Great location to the beach. Very Very clean. Very comfortable bedrooms. The house is well kept! The only minor thing I would recommend would be to figure out how to make the 2nd floor kitchen area more comfortable with a TV and some sofa seating. Everyone congregates in the kitchen not the first floor with all the bedrooms. Other than that we had a wonderful experience.

Our family recently stayed at this very clean, spacious, conveniently located on a quiet side street, easy one block walk to the beach, well-maintained home in Isle of Palms, South Carolina for a family gathering. The house, with plenty of room, easily accommodated our three families with six adults and three children. Each family had its own bedroom(s) and private bathroom. There were porches on which we enjoyed morning coffee and breakfast, as well as many lunches and dinners. You could even hear the soft sound of the Atlantic Ocean! The salt water swimming pool in the private, fenced, backyard was marvelous. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook any type of meal, and the laundry room was a lifesaver. Local shopping, restaurants, as well as historic downtown Charleston are an easy drive away. If you are looking for a great vacation getaway, we highly recommend this property. We will visit again!
