The primary bedroom, which is located on the first floor of the home, features a king bed and an en-suite bath with double vanities, a spacious shower, and a soaking tub. The second bedroom (Bedroom #2), which contains a queen bed, is also located on this main floor. This room has direct porch access to enjoy pond views. Upstairs, you will find the two remaining bedrooms and a bonus sitting area with queen-sized sleeper sofa. The third bedroom (Bedroom #3) boasts a king bed and private bath, and the final bedroom (Bedroom #4) contains two twin beds. The laundry room is located on the main floor of the home, and the owner does provide a pack-n-play & highchair if traveling with little ones!

This was a nice, spacious house on a nice street. Good proximity to beach and bike trails. The photos make it look really nice and updated on the inside, but in reality, it’s not quite as nice and updated as we thought. The toilet attached to the bedroom on the first floor needs attention (doesn’t flush properly). Overall a good rental for our family of 8.

Sweetgrass is very easy to work with. They get back to you very quickly. I would definitely use them again. This home is in a great location and spacious. It needs some updates- mainly the kitchen. We had a great time and the home was clean. I would rent it again.

We were so fortunate to find this Kiawah Island home to have a family get together. It is well taken care of, lots of natural light, comfortable beds, well- equipped and roomy kitchen that was great for cooking family meals. Loved sitting on the back deck in the morning sun, watching birds and the occasional alligator. We brought our bikes and really enjoyed biking around the island, and they had a wagon to use to bring our chairs to the beach, which was less than 10 minute walk. If you have more than 3 cars, parking in the garage and front property is challenging. We would stay here again. Thanks to the owners for making it available!

We had a wonderful family vacation with our adult kids and their significant others at this great house. Our days started with coffee on the deck that over the pond, where we watched incredible wildlife- alligators, birds, fish and turtles. A short bike ride to the beach each day, and evenings were spent cooking, dining and playing games together in the spacious family room and kitchen area. The setup couldn’t have been more perfect for our group. We can’t wait to go back!

We went as a family to spend a few days at the beach. Grandparents, children, and grandchildren. The house was perfect, the layout was very comfortable. We found everything we needed to enjoy the week. We rented bicycles to go to the beach (you can't go by car during the week) and it was a plan in itself.We will be back!

This home is spacious and bright. It is located on a street lined with beautiful homes and pristine yards. Ideal for walking or riding a bike. The interior furniture is comfortable with plenty of room for a group to gather and enjoy conversation or watch TV. The view of the pond from the back porch includes a visit from 3 alligators who sun themselves on the grass. We enjoyed watching these creatures from a distance. Maybe not a place for young children or dogs! It is a short walk to the beach, but if you are taking chairs and accessories you will need a cart or wagon. The beach is wide and beautiful.All in all a fine place to vacation and relax.

Sweetgrass was absolutely what we were looking for for our last minute get away to celebrate our anniversary. Beautiful home, surroundings, island and wildlife. We enjoyed looking for the alligator every morning and when we would walk into the house from being out exploring on our bikes. The bed in the primary BR was very comfortable. The beautiful decorated Christmas tree was such a nice touch!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The back deck is so lovely and serene, and the layout is perfect for families. The home was stocked with a high chair and pack n play which was super helpful. You can’t beat the natural light and pond views from the living room, and the screened porch was a fun spot to hang out once kids went to bed. All in all, a great stay and we’d highly recommend it. We’ll be back!

This house is beautiful, clean, stocked with everything you need, spacious and in a prime location of Kiawah. It was perfect for two families with kids. The decor was simple, updated and refreshing. The house wasn’t crowded with the owners belongings and I loved that there was room to put your food, games and toiletries in drawers and cabinets. I loved that it had a front and back porch, screened in porch, a landing upstairs and a den down. Everyone wasn’t on top of each other and we had our own spaces. The live oaks and Spanish moss hanging from the branches around the house added to the true low country experience. The bike trails are close by and it’s just a short walk or bike ride to the beach.

We LOVED our stay at this home. It was the first time to Kiawah for most of our family and we felt like picked the perfect home. It's so easy to get to the beach - just a short walk or bike ride away - over a beautiful little path with a bridge. We rode our bikes everywhere. And we saw so much wildlife, including baby alligators. We had a great dinner at the Salty Dog by the marina, and loved getting ice cream and looking at the boats. The house had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable and the master shower/bath is gorgeous. By far my favorite thing was relaxing on the screened porch. It feels so private and was the perfect spot for coffee and a book. We would love to come back and stay at this same home. Thank you for hosting us!

Perfectly Peaceful

Location was secluded and peaceful. Spent lots of time on the deck and screened patio enjoying the nature all around. Alligators spent their days sunbathing on the shore in the back yard. Fish were jumping out of the water behind the house. Multiple species of birds were flying around and enjoying the trees and the birdhouse. Several deer walked by the deck. Peaceful and relaxing. The location is still close enough to Charleston that we drove in every day. Looking forward to returning. Possibly making this at least an annual trip.

Who would have believed that in just a four hour ride from Greenville SC we could escape winter for a few days. It was a wonderful vacation. This home is so perfect and relaxing. The views are beautiful with the lagoon and palm trees in the back. On the porch you can hear the ocean. It was so sunny and bright in the house because of all the windows along the back. It's very private because across the lagoon there aren't any homes just trees. We brought our bicycles. It was a short ride to the beach from the house. Plenty of restaurants in the area for dining out. Great Location! Can't wait to go back.

This is a very beautiful house and location. We enjoyed the daily visits from all the wildlife and even multiple alligators. The lagoons are nice to stay on. The walk to the beach is ok but if you are bringing get a cart at least, or maybe I’m just getting old. The house was well stocked with all items needed. The coffee maker accepted both grounds and k cups. The house was very clean and bed comfortable. We hope to stay again.
