Welcome to the Kiawah Island vacation home of your dreams! This spectacular 7-bedroom seaside manor spans over 4,500 square feet of beautiful interiors, not to mention the extensive amount of exterior space and private pool. Your search for the perfect rental ends here! 

Step through the foyer into the airy, open living space that looks like a page torn right out of Southern Living - with shiplap accents, custom built-ins, and beautiful furnishings. Light pours in all around from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The floor plan flows seamlessly into the kitchen, with chef-grade appliances and everything you'll need to make a meal. You'll find yourself wanting to cook even on your vacation! The dining table offers seating for eight, with four additional seats at the expansive kitchen island. There is breakfast nook with table right off of the kitchen area, with seating for six more.

The first of seven bedrooms is on the main level. A gorgeous king primary suite, with en-suite bathroom and access to the pool area. The bathroom boasts double vanities along with a soaking tub. Take the stairs to the second floor where the remaining six bedrooms can be found, six of which have their own respective en-suite bathrooms.. Two bedrooms feature king beds, both with TVs and balcony access. One bedroom has two twin beds with TV, and another a queen bed with en-suite. The sixth room has a twin with trundle bed and TV and shares the bathroom with the last bedroom. The final bedroom is a beautiful, large room with a second living area and two sets of bunk beds, totaling four twin beds, located on the third floor bonus room. A dream space for the kids in the family! 

The defining feature of this already-stunning property is the outdoor spaces that will allow you to really immerse yourself into vacation mode. The private pool area out back is the perfect place to take a dip after a long day in the sun, or grill out with your family. Spend your evenings on the screened porch enjoying the coastal breeze. Oh, and did we mention that the beach is just a short stroll away? For added entertainment, there are fun games such as corn hole and table tennis in the garage rec room. Cable TV is provided in the living room and bunk bonus room. The other TVs allow streaming service only.

The combination of space, outdoor features, and proximity to the beach makes this home a rare gem. You'll truly find yourself never wanting to leave!

We had an enjoyable and relaxing spring break with our grandkids and their families. The kids especially enjoyed the heated pool which suited our needs perfectly. Overall, the house is comfortable and conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, but not far from the beach access. The property manager was also very responsive to any needs we had during our stay.

The house was absolutely wonderful. We spent the weekend there for a relaxing bachelorette and the pool, beach access, house and surroundings were perfect for 14 girls. We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking to stay on Kiawah!

We had two families, and could have easily had another. Pool was heated, which was fab, although costly at $200 a day. Location was perfect, easy 5 min bike to access 32. Only niggle was that the TV’s didn’t work. Sweetgrass did send someone out, but we were out for the day by then so missed them.

Great house for our extended family annual vacation. The pool was a wonderful central place for kids in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings...once the beach had blasted us all. Screened porch was nice place to relax, and the entire back deck/porch area felt very private with large trees walling in the entire area. Lagoon behind the house brought an alligator into the small backyard below the deck which was fun. Easy bike ride to beach in two different directions.

My family and I just spent the week at this property and consider this an excellent vacation. The management company instructions and booking were crystal clear, the house arrival and departure instructions were easy to follow, and the house function was perfect for our family dynamic. The main floor is an entertainers dream with a wide open floorplan that walks out to the pool and sun room. Kitchen was built for a large guest stay and all the appliances catered to our needs (special shout out for the ice machine). If I only had a few minor disclosures about the house: 1) the stairs off the first floor are steep and not great for infants and toddlers; and 2) given this price point it would be nice to have some house bikes near the occupancy level (4 singles were provided so we needed to rent more). These did not materially impact our stay and would highly recommend for any family groups of 8-10 adults.

This home is perfect for a large group. Our family of 14 spent four days in this lovely home that offers everything for the ideal vacation: lots of room, nice furnishings, a beautiful pool, ping pong and corn hole in the garage for the kids and the ultimate kitchen. Everything was in tip-top shape and we didn't lack for a thing. As my grandson said, "this house is the bomb".

We had a great time at the residence. Incredible location, very accurate to the description, LOVE the kitchen. One thing I would recommend for next time is to clean the pool, as we did find quite a bit of pollen/debris lining the bottom. Other than that, the stay was outstanding. Thanks!

This was our favorite rental house yet! Perfect footprint for our family. We would have loved to be closer to the beach but it was definitely doable even for the kids. The pool was very nice and when we had an issue with algae, the property management company was very responsive and got the pool company engaged timely. The views from the back decks are peaceful and lovely. The amenities were complete. The only suggestion I have is that for a house that accommodates so many people, we would have liked a second trash can. Overall awesome and we would like to go back!

Perfect house for a girls weekend! Open floor plan provides ideal space to gather together, while the suite-style bedrooms give everyone a little privacy. Great location and a short walk to the beach. We will be back!

We had a group of eight stay at this Bufflehead home. The home was spectacular, the setting was perfect and very private. The living area was open and very comfortable, the kitchen is a chef's dream and the dining area seated eight people very easily. I stay at a lot of properties and this is by far the best property that I have ever stayed at. Highly recommend it for a large family or group.

We rented the house for a customer golf outing, and we were blown away from the time we arrived until we departed. The house allowed each person to have their own bathroom and room, which is rare when renting a house. It also had everything we needed, and our guests loved the cribbage board. I would highly recommend this property to anyone regardless of who is visiting. As a bonus, the 3rd-floor bonus room is great for kids. If you are looking for a unique dining experience, I would also recommend chef Brett McKee. We used Chef Brett for two dinners, and it was a fantastic touch on an already great week.

Our family spent an entire week in the Bufflehead home. The home was well equipped for our entire family where we all had plenty of space to gather or to spend quiet time. Our niece was married at the River Course on Saturday and Sunday we had a few people over for a post wedding breakfast. Everyone admired the home and the layout in the downstairs area. This property would be fun to rent during the summer when the beautiful pool is warm and inviting. If you have never been to Kiawah Island and are looking for a vacation home for a larger family then this is the place for you.

We had an amazing week staying at 17 Bufflehead. The home is so nicely appointed and has a well stocked kitchen and lovely pool. We had absolutely everything we needed. The location is great for a short bike ride to the beach. We had three young kids and it was still pretty easy to get to the beach walking or riding. We will definitely stay here again in the future! This is by far the nicest rental we have stayed in!
