Kiawah Island is know for it's natural beauty, extensive wildlife, and sandy beaches. This 3 bedroom cottage is the perfect location in Oceanwoods neighborhood of West Beach for enjoying all the island has to offer. The beach is a short 3-4 minute walk. The proximity to Night Heron Park, with basketball courts, a soccer field, playground, and Nature Center, makes it ideal for families.

The bright great room is a combination of the spacious kitchen, dining area with seating for 6, and the comfortable living room. The updated kitchen includes granite counter tops and new appliances. The living room offers plenty of seating and flat screen TV for your to enjoy. Located just off the living room is an enclosed sunroom featuring a sectional couch perfect to steal away with a good book.

The master bedroom features a King sized bed and private bathroom. The first guest room contains a king bed, while the second guest room features two twin beds. There is a full bathroom located between these two guest rooms.

This cottage sits next to a scenic lagoon and has a large deck with a gas grill for cooking out. It is perfect for enjoying the outdoors!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Fiddlers reach. The location was perfect! The tennis club, the beach, and restaurants were all very close by. The house was comfortable and cozy for 2 adults and 3 kids. The bike paths are great and everything on the island is accessible by bicycle. Can’t wait to do it again!

A break before the holidays but not a marathon

My husband and I rented this house in case our adult kids decided to run the marathon: they didn't but we don't miss a chance to get to the beach! We have rented dozens of properties and this one is the best appointed by far. The kitchen had everything we needed and I noticed all that was there besides - high end, much was new and the home was beyond tidy, clean and inviting. Since we were coming for the race, we didn't get a place on the ocean but this house was in an awesome spot, convenient to the beach, all the bike paths and a great neighborhood. Great layout, comfortable furnishings and 3 days of rest, food and sunshine. That makes a perfect getaway.

I am hesitant to share our review but must give credit where credit is due! This location was recommend by a friend and it lived up to our expectations and more. It was a very comfortable, maintained and well appointed home! Nothing was lacking. The decor, bedding and all amenities were superb. The kitchen was a delight. I simply cannot express how satisfied we were. The only negative…we should have stayed longer! We would definitely love to return and break our rule of not going back to same vacation spot in case it does not live up to our memories. Thank you.

Wonderful property. Perfect location. You walk out your door to a beautiful path heading directly to the beach. The home was clean and had everything you could need. I enjoyed sitting on the sunporch and reading every day. The kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of room and layout is perfect. We come to Kiawah very often and everything about this home was ideal.

A very well furnished, peaceful and restfull house. The only issue was the hot water had to be turned off and back on to reset the system if you wanted hot showers.

This was our 35th visit to Kiawah, and this home was much cleaner and much better equipped than most of the places where we've stayed. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, the furnishings were comfortable and in very good condition, and we especially liked spending time on the enclosed porch. Lighting in the dining area could have been brighter, and cold air from the ceiling vents blew down on us when we were at the table. The home is in an excellent location, quiet and very close to the beach.

Fiddlers reach is a great rental for a family or 2 to stay in. The kitchen is stocked properly, the sun room is awesome. The king size beds in 2 rooms are dreamy. It’s also a short walk to the beautiful beach! There is nothing not to like about this place. We will stay here again.

At fiddlers reach you will find the bench marks of every sweetgrass property: Superb linens, a very well appointed kitchen, cloud like comfort in every bed, spa quality luxurious bathrooms, and spotlessly clean house- even in the corners. The property was everything it was billed to be. It was clean and, in general, well kept up. We only had to call on a couple of things: the outside grill which was out of propane and didn't work, also needed some cleaning, and clarification on the days of trash and recycling pick up which were not posted in the house. The toilet paper holder in the guest bathroom was also missing an attachment and spring in it when we arrived. Very minor issues. It was very easy to get to the beach and all the bike trails and activities we did. Thank you!

We have been to Kiawah several times and stayed various places. Our stay at 477 has topped our list and certainly hope to be back and stay there again. Very clean and the cottage included everything we needed. The deck overlooking the lagoon provided a wonderful view of the islands nature.
