Description

Located on the Cinder Creek of the Kiawah River, this gorgeous 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom house has it all. It is the perfect family getaway to experience all that Kiawah has to offer: tennis, golfing, biking, fishing, water sports, wildlife, and more. This popular home features modern furnishings, expansive bedrooms, and a private pool. It is the ideal combination of relaxation and fun for any group of travelers.

Upon entering the main level of home, you are greeted by the expansive living room floor to ceiling windows allow the natural light to shine throughout the home. This room is adjacent to the dining room area, which features large round table with seating for up to 6 guests and unique open-top hallway cabinetry, which allows for all the living spaces to flow together.

Moving into the fully equipped kitchen, it is beautifully appointed with marble counter tops, state-of-the-art appliances -including gas range, duals ovens and wine cooler – new cabinetry. The massive central island, which has barstool seating for 5 guests, is the perfect location for entertaining. There is a breakfast table in the kitchen area which seats 6 guests as well. The secondary sitting room, just off the kitchen, finishes out the home’s incredible living spaces, and offers a TV and more furniture to relax about.

The spacious master suite (Bedroom #1) is on the first level of the home, and features a beautifully remodeled private bathroom with standing shower soaking tub, and dual vanities.

Ascending the stairs to the second floor, you’ll find the remaining two bedrooms. The first of these bedrooms (Bedroom #2) contains a king bed, TV, and private bathroom with standing shower.  The final bedroom (Bedroom #3) has two queen beds, TV, and private bathroom with tub/shower combo.

The outdoor spaces are definitely a highlight of the home! Lounge by the private pool, enjoy a BBQ dinner on the backyard grill, or enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the gorgeous island views of Kiawah. The backyard is a private oasis perfect for outdoor entertainment!

The home was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully designed with so many amenities that made our stay easy and comfortable. Everything felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. It was cozy without feeling cramped and truly felt like a home away from home. Our son, Cohen, had the best time, which meant a lot to us and allowed us to actually relax and enjoy our time there. The space was comfortable, well-maintained, and clearly cared for. We honestly don’t have a single complaint. This was one of those rare stays where you feel settled, at peace, and completely taken care of. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and family-friendly place on Kiawah.

Our family celebrated my husband’s 70 th Birthday at one of his favorite places, Kiawah Island. The home we rented was absolutely beautiful. It was the best decision to rent this home with a pool. Our grandsons enjoyed the pool every single day. We had the best weather and enjoyed our bike rides daily. Our family will have such great memories of this week.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 700 Glossy Ibis! Very roomy and open concept and close proximity to beach, 10 minute bike ride . Very clean and well maintained. Back porch and pool area great for entertaining. Extra refrigerator was great and huge island in kitchen . Kitchen adequately stocked , but could use a refresh . Only issue was WiFi was poor . We couldn’t make phone calls on cell phone , only text .

We enjoyed our time at Glossy Ibis. The home is cozy yet spacious. The pool was clean but outside temps were too cool to warm the water. The bedrooms are nice and roomy. Overall, it was a lovely and unforgettable stay.

This is a beautiful, relaxing residence. The only issue that we had was some inconsistency with the air conditioning. We had prompt service twice. The pool, patio and deck are lovely and very tranquil. The inside of the house is very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The kitchen is well equipped. We had everything we needed for a wonderful enjoyable week.

The house was perfect for us--we had unusually cold weather the first few days--plants withered outside but we were warm and toasty. The space was very comfortable and the kitchen was fabulous--all the pots and pans my chef husband loved. The beds were also very comfortable. The only thing that didn't work was the ice maker but we just bought ice. We used the grill outside twice and it worked very well. WE did not use the pool--too cold but it was lovely. Also the neighborhood was beautiful as well. Thank you and the owners. The Klintbergs

We had a wonderful two-week vacation at 700 Glossy Ibis. The house was perfectly situated near the beach on a beautifully manicured private lot. Having our private pool was an added bonus. The house was filled with light even on cloudy days and it was impeccably cleaned, spacious, and well stocked with necessities. I would definitely recommend it to others and hope to stay there again the next time we are in Kiawah.

We had a fantastic time at 700 Glossy Ibis. The main level is large and open and the kitchen well appointed. The beds were all comfortable and the bathrooms modern and lovely. We spent all our time at the beach, so didn't end up using the pool. We've visits Kiawah many times over the past 20 years and enjoyed this home a lot.

This home made our visit perfect. The location was the best; quiet, close enough to the beach, with a beautiful marsh view, The private pool was fantastic. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. The Sweetgrass team was so nice and responsive to work with and the housekeeping service was the best we’ve experienced. The early check-in opportunity allowed us to avoid much of the traffic rush and started the week with calm and convenience. Although this home is no longer listed as pet friendly, it was the most comfortable rental we’ve ever had with our chihuahua, and we are so sad that it will no longer be available for our family.

Lovely house and your service was excellent. We appreciated you bringing a new toaster the day we emailed, and it was even a holiday. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return. A few small items in the house need to be fixed, there is a lamp in the den that the knob to turn it off has broken off and the can opener is bent and difficult to use. And the board that is sticking up on the back deck could use a more noticeable marker than the small yellow stripe.

We so enjoyed our week at 700 Glossy Ibis. The home was clean with a nice open layout and the kitchen was well stocked. The first night there was a smoke alarm battery going off in a locked closet, so that was an issue, as it was Christmas night and no one was available to open the door. Then the next day the house was out of power for at least 12 hours and brrrr it was so cold. Finally it came back on at 8 pm that night. That was a power company issue. The house had a nice fenced in back yard and tile floors making it easy when traveling with a dog. And the location was a bike ride to the Ocean Club and beach. Overall it was lovely. I would be delighted to stay there again.

Great house in a perfect location with a fantastic pool. Perfect for the holidays with double ovens, a giant island and incredible buffet area on the dining room.
