Located along a tidal creek of the Kiawah River and only 3 blocks from the beach, the gated community of Inlet Cove Cottages is a perfect family vacation destination. Swimming in the community pool, fishing, crabbing, and beach combing, are just a few of the many activities waiting to be enjoyed. Kiawah Island also offers five championship golf courses, two tennis centers, parks, over 30 miles of bike paths, plus 10 miles of white sandy beaches. One of the best in the neighborhood, 80 Inlet Cove is an ideal location on the island.

When driving up to the cottage, you can't help but notice the natural landscape. You have ample parking in the car port and driveway. Entering the unit, you will notice the beautiful new furnishings and decor in the open concept living, kitchen, and dining areas. The newly renovated kitchen features custom cabinetry, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. With stylish, comfortable furnishings in the living room and flat screen TV, you are sure to relax after a long day of exploring. This area is open to the dining table, seating 6, and flows in to the kitchen that also has two bar stools for extra eating space. There are also two arm chairs for relaxing or conversing while prepping in the kitchen.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths in this cottage. The Master bedroom will be off the living room and connected to the back porch. This room has a King size bed, private bathroom with premium shower and flat-screen TV. The second room has a Queen and third room has two twin beds and share a bathroom. The room with two twins also has a TV.

Relax on the lovely screened porch with amazing nature views. Head out to go crabbing on the community bridge just behind the cottage or enjoy fishing just across the street at the community dock. For some real adventure, take the island bike paths over to Freshfields Village or Bohicket Marina for wonderful shopping and dining or ride over to Captain Sam's Spit to watch the dolphins frolick in the water! Watch the beautiful sunset and the wildlife play at the community dock overlooking the Kiawah River (chairs and tables provided)!

The beach house was perfect space for our family. My favorite room was the screened in porch. To relax, to conversation, to have time to myself. The beds were so soft and comfortable. The water pressure in the showers were strong. You guys even had a crockpot for me to use! Great place to stay with my family! Thank you Carla

The people at Sweetgrass did a wonderful job of caring for us. From Reservations to Departure, they made it easy to relax and enjoy our stay at Kiawah. When we had a concern they responded quickly to resolve it. The house was beautiful, clean and fully equipped. The midstay clean was great also.

Great location and a quick walk to boardwalk #1 access. Community dock and pool were great. Spotted dolphins feeding multiple nights from the dock. House was clean, updated, and had a well-stocked kitchen. A/C worked great, and the owners added some floor fans just in case you need some more moving air or ambient noise at night to sleep. Screened in patio with the cafe lights was a nice touch. The entrance to the community is before the main entrance to Kiawah, but no issues at all getting onto the island with property pass. No issues at all during this stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It was very nicely decorated, clean, and the kitchen was stocked with all that we needed. The location is a short walk to the beach and community pool. The community dock is a bonus for amazing sunsets. Sweetgrass was excellent to work with from the planning stages of our trip to check out!

The house was updated and had great bathrooms and showers,kithcen was well furnished. The only negative was the floors weren't cleaned well when we arrived ,it appeared the previous renter had a long haired black dog and the register was covered at the bottom and under the furniture. They might consider updating the grill , we typically use a few times on vacation.all of that said we enjoyed staying at this rental property.

The location was perfect. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. We would have preferred a gas grill, as opposed to charcoal, but made out ok. There are no ceiling fans and it was impossible to watch tv on the rainy days because we didn't have a code. I would 100% rent this house again, but bring with me what they didn't have. A HUGE bonus- it's pet friendly ❤️

The location of this home is very convenient! The beach and pool are within walking distance. Freshfields Shopping Center is close by. The home is comfortable, but in need of some improvements. The utensil drawer in the kitchen sticks and doesn’t close completely. There were a few other issues that Sweetgrass fixed during our stay ( recessed light hanging from the ceiling and a burnt out light over the shower.)Outside stair lights were burnt out, the HVAC filter screen was coming off the wall and it appeared that the filter needed changed. The water filter on the refrigerator needed to be replaced. It seems that it is time for the owner to invest in improvements that will make maintenance easier for the rental company.

Very nice return trip to Inlet Cove; our 33rd year! The home was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It is exactly as pictured! The kitchen is well stocked with most everything you need to make meals at home and the back porch was great for reading. The master bath shower was amazing!!! (Great pressure). It was our first pet-friendly home and it was special to be able to include the grandpup on this trip! Convenient location, comfy home, easy checkin and checkout experience - we will be back!!

What a fantastic week! The property was wonderful and so centrally located. We got to enjoy the beach, the trails and all the amenities of Inlet Cove. So great that we’ve already booked our return trip. There was great storage for beach chairs, bikes etc as well as great furnishings throughout the house. Such a relaxing trip and can’t wait to be back!

We stayed here with our two small kids (10/7). It is a 6minute walk to a great beach. The beach is not crowded at all. The sand is fine and the grade is very gradual (small waves but shallow, great for kids). Great dining options within a 15min bike ride or 6min car ride. The grounds of the neighborhood are beautiful. The pool is also a great spot for kids, never crowded and shaded in parts. Overall and excellent stay.

I think the home is comfortable and fairly attractive. I was disappointed in the lack of a few common essentials found in rentals even given COVID such as salt and pepper. The lighting needs improvement in the knobs that control the lighting.

Had a great week, cycling on the beach, following turtle patrol, watching glorious sunrises on the beach and sunsets over the river and experiencing dolphins strand feeding. House was a nice layout and perfect location - close to the beach entrance and convenient for the pool and jetty.

My family has been coming to Kiawah Island for almost 20 years now. It started as a family vacation with just 1 house and my parents and 3 siblings, and now has grown to each of us having spouses, dogs, and kids and needing to rent 3 houses in Inlet Cove! There is no place on KI like Inlet Cove. The fishing dock, swimming pool, the quiet, laid back family environment, and short walk to the beach is unlike any other place. My family loves KI and will continue coming to this beautiful place for generations to come as our family has created this wonderful tradition that is unlike any other beach vacation.

The house was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. We had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in area and front deck, spending many hours relaxing there, reading and loving the quiet shaded areas. Our 7-yr old dog, Charlee enjoyed it too! The short walk to the beautiful, uncrowded beach was terrific. We also rode for miles and miles on the flat, shaded bike paths. This was our first trip to Kiawah, hope to be back soon!

The IC80: 80 Inlet Cove house in Kiawah Island was great! It had everything we needed and it was truly in an awesome location, close to the beach and nearby shops/restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend for small groups and/or families.

We have been to Kiawah multiple times, always staying at a different property. This was the first time in the Inlet Cove neighborhood. In fact, didn't even know it existed! Really enjoyed it. Had great access to beach, only about a 5 minute walk. And then there is also access to the Kiawah River/estuary, which we hadn't had access to before. Really enjoyed going there to watch the sunset. If you like to kayak, this would be a great place to launch from. The house was clean, beds comfortable, AC worked:), everything was good. Kitchen was well stocked, only noticeable item missing was a sharp knife, but that isn't uncommon when using rentals. Often we travel with our own chefs knife. Only other thing to be aware of is there is a finite amount of dishwasher soap and other "essentials" provided. So if you are staying a full week you'll want to bring some of those things.

We had a wonderful stay at IC-80. The unit was clean and the bedrooms have new carpet and very good quality mattresses, linens, and towels. The kitchen was well stocked with items that were in very good condition and it was great to have the new W/D. The beach is a short walk or ride and we very much enjoyed the community dock with sunset views and fishing. Our community pool was closed due to covid but it appears to be a very nice, large pool. Sweetgrass was excellent to work with and I would rent from them again.

Loved the house. Kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans. We cooked in all but one night. Mattresses were heavenly and shower in the master was awesome. Was disappointed pool was closed due to COVID-19 and could not use another pool. Rented bikes which made getting to the beach a little easier.
