Sweetgrass Sea Cabin 217A was very nice. Love the quiet and glad that the ‘rules’ were respected by all, for the most part. I made sure my parking ticket was always displayed but I noticed that this didn’t seem the case for all vehicles. I loved the balcony chairs; very nice touch. There wasn’t any lockbox. It was a combination lock on the door handle; it would have been nice to know that in the email I received. I had to park my vehicle and walk around to find where the unit was located. It would have been nice to be told it was near the exit sign. There wasn’t any TV channel list; it would have been nice if one had been included in the email if you didn’t leave one in the unit. As long as your price remains reasonable I will try to rent this unit again if it’s available.

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was very clean and everything in the kitchen seemed new. It is small, but was perfect for a couple and 1 child. The condo is steps from the beach and community pool. There is a public beach right next door, so the beach on the weekends was extremely crowded.

The location was excellent on the ocean with a view. The private pier was a perfect picture spot, and the beach had plenty of shells to find. In the unit itself, it was nice to have a stove, full refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. The blackout curtains helped us sleep soundly. The neighbors were not noisy. This was a delightful spring break place.

217A Sea Cabin is very nice. The unit was exceptionally clean, very comfortable for me and my husband. I love there was minimum decorations. The kitchen was very organized and had plenty of kitchen equipment supplies. The property well maintained. Communication from property management company was excellent. My one complaint, could you please provide 2 bars of soap: one for bathroom sink and one for shower. I think it would not add that much expense. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay the 217A. My husband was stationed at Naval base Charleston when we married 40 yrs ago. So we came for our Anniversary. Re visited our favorite places and ate well. The Sea Cabins were in the prefect spot. Thanks!

Such a nice space! Well maintained and comfortable. Only thing I'd add would be shades on the two windows that face the entrance - the light is right outside the door and it's SUPER bright in there all night long. Otherwise, great for small families! Very relaxing and cute.

Bedroom layout is a little hard for one person to get in and out of bed. We have been in many units and some have the bed in another position where there is room on both sides making it much easier for both people to get in bed. I think the deck furniture is a little outdated and sits quite low making it harder to see the great views. With all that being said, we are all set with reservations next year for the third year in a row

Stayed at Sea Cabins several times. This unit has been the best one yet! It is updated and very clean. Comfortable bed also! Sadly, the palm tree in front of the balcony cuts off some of the ocean view but still not that bad!

IOP Paradise

We visit IOP often, and in recent years, began renting private condos instead of staying in a hotel or on the Wild Dunes resort. The Sea Cabin condo is very well maintained, extremely clean, and very close to the IOP action since it's located in "downtown" IOP. The condo was well stocked with kitchen essentials, paper products, and bedding. The location can't be beat - we were able to walk to restaurants and entertainment and is only a short drive to Sullivan's Island or Charleston. Being on the 2nd floor, you are able to see the dunes, beach and ocean from the balcony. My only recommendation is to add blackout curtains in the bedroom & hall sidelight as there is an outside light that shines brightly all night long. Neither smoking nor pets are allowed, which definitely helps when someone experiences allergies. All in all, a great vacation!

IOP SC217A: 217A Sea Cabin Wonderful!

Our Sea Cabin at IOP was wonderful! Cozy, but super-clean. Great for two people or two with small kids. Nice view of the ocean with access to pier and beach. Easy Laundry access across the parking lot. Perfect access to the rest of IOP, Sullivan's Island, or back to Mt. Pleasant and N. Charleston. The only downside were the crowds on Saturday morning; it was a nice day and hundreds of people trying to get over the bridge so it took awhile to get back to the condo. I can see this as an issue during the summer months. So if you can, plan your travels for off-season. This does NOT take away from our wonderful stay in the condo!

Book this place now, you won’t regret it! This condo was CUTE, CLEAN, and CLOSE to the water! What more could you ask for? You can’t beat the convenience of this unit. EVERYTHING you want or need is right there. The beds were comfy, the pool was so refreshing and the view is amazing. We loved every minute of our girls trip weekend and we already want to go back! 5 stars - would definitely stay here again.

We’ve been visiting Isle of Palms for 20 years, always staying at Sea Cabins. This is the best beach front property for the buck on IOP. All of the units are very small but have the amenities we need. We love the fishing pier right there on the property. The pool is small but a handy alternative from the beach The walking distance to beach shops, restaurants, grocery/liquor stores is a big plus! On site laundromat is super handy. We spend little time in the condo so the small size doesn’t matter. 3rd floor has best ocean view but no elevator, so lots of stairs. I prefer 2nd floor which still has a good view. Sweetgrass Properties was wonderful to do business with. They were very responsive to all of our needs. We had a dead microwave oven and within a few hours they were there with a brand new one! Looking forward to doing business with them again!
