Inside, the primary suite features a king bed, Smart TV, ensuite bath with granite countertops, double sinks, and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom offers two queen beds, its own ensuite, Smart TV, and a private balcony.  Newly installed blackout lined drapes ensure restful mornings, while large windows and 3 private balconies offer sunset views and fresh ocean air.

Additional amenities include a well-stocked cabinet of games and books for family fun, Sonos Bluetooth speakers for music, and high-speed Wi-Fi making work-from-home by the coast a breeze.  There is also a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room for an additional guests or children.  For your convenience, a complimentary shared laundry room is located just down the hall from the villa.

Loved our quick stay in Kiawah! 2167 was a nice stay. Loved being on first floor for quick access to beach. If first floor had a view of the ocean it would be beyond excellent! Just a few steps to see!

We have stayed in Kiawah many times and this was our favorite place. The location was perfect. We were steps from the beach, and a short drive to Night Herron Park and Freshfields. The property was very clean, tastefully decorated and the beds were super comfortable. We really enjoyed playing with all the games and puzzles. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

The unit is perfect. Everything you need is there. You can leave your back porch and walk right to beach. Unit stocked with games, books, beach chairs. Beds comfortable. no Keurig coffee maker if that’s your preference. We did have an issue with another unit down the hall and a dead smoker detector that beeped loudly for 2 days and it took 24 hrs to get a human into the unit to resolve it, but we acknowledge it’s the dead of winter and after a holiday. The management company communicated well via text. Highly recommend!

Shipwatch 2167 Family Vacation

We have stayed in 2167 Shipwatch for 1 week each summer for several years. The first floor location nestled behind the vegetated dunes offers a tranquil setting with easy access to the beach. We love watching the deer and other wildlife from the porches. Our time at the beach and on the bike paths have provided great memories for our family. The one issue we had with a faulty sliding door lock this year was quickly resolved. Thanks for being great hosts and we look forward to future visits. Denny Smith

Sweet grass was so prompt with replies to any of our questions - like REAL people!! THAT is so important to have folks working in the same area that actually answer the phone!!!! We really enjoyed our Shipwatch vacation - access to the beach is nearly unparalleled it so close. We did think there was a small view of the ocean from listing pics but there was just a very long sand dune in front of the unit - that area WAS gorgeous w palms and other trees tho. We were glad we could hear the ocean at night by leaving the sliding glass door open! The Unit was CLEAN!!!! The living room furniture & decor was VERY nice w nice pillows and throw blankets. The bedrooms were very nicely appointed - note that one bdrm has 2 Double beds-the other a King….the King was soft but we do prefer a firm bed. Oodles of puzzles, books and some games… A few things needed some instructions (the master shower knobs) & the top shower head needs help. We walked around the whole condo unit trying to find our room…we may have missed any room #’s on the bldgs. If you want an ocean view, ask Sweetgrass for a unit on the 3rd/4th floors - we will try for one there and on the front point of the bldg next time. There is a nice elevator - also, the halls are cleaned daily. New Heavy duty Stainless frying pans are A MUST - the 2 non stick were old and stained (yuk) but there was a Great 2 qt stainless pot. A 3 & 4 qt stainless pot is needed. The frig was good but got really damp inside a few days in. A great storage/pantry area but PLS remove that folding door- a pocket door would be amazing and allow access to the frig and stove!!! We wanted to remove that door ourselves!! Great plates & bowls and nice silverware! Some heavy duty LARGE glasses would be really nice as you want a BIG glass of cold drink at the beach! YES - we would stay at Shipwatch again and A+ for Sweetgrass.

Clean and comfortable

What a sweet spot! My husband, daughter and I along with our grandsons( ages 5 and 8) enjoyed our stay very much. The villawas clean, well stocked, maintained and very comfortable. There were a couple of beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys available for the kids to use on the beach that was only steps away. Lots of games, cards and puzzles were also available. We were pleasantly surprised when we discovered rental beach chairs and umbrellas were available via a service that was driving along the beach. Bikes were also available to rent and delivered right to our properties parking lot. The boys loved riding the bikes on the beach. Although the landscaping prohibited an ocean view from this ground floor unit, we could still hear the waves from our deck. The deck was too narrow for the 5 of us to sit on comfortably however. This was our first visit to South Carolina but not our last and we will definitely stay here again.

This villa was just perfect for a much needed getaway. The unit was immaculate and had all the amenities we needed. The only problem we had was the height of the shelves in the cabinets . They were so high that my husband had to get the dishes out for me. There was no way to rearrange things so we just dealt with it. That was just a tiny problem and meant nothing compared to the beauty of the setting and the great location. We hope to return to this unit next year with family members.

This unit was equipped with everything you need to cook all of your meals. The owners of this Villa has everything for the renter, nothing overlooked. The unit was clean and the close proximity to the beach was great. I would highly recommend this Villa. One suggestion I have is to replace the outdated key lock box with an electronic smart door lock and handle. Toni & Mark Dally Blakeslee, Pa.

This location was perfect for the Kiawah half marathon. It was a short walk to the start and finish at the West Beach conference center. It was also a few yards from the beach. Sadly, the outside decks were under construction so the windows were boarded up with plywood for most of our stay. Would love to come back when the construction is done.

The condo is beautifully appointed with 3 terraces to enjoy. The garden view is lovely and you can hear the roar of the ocean. We enjoyed the “high tech’ features such as Alexa and Roku TV. The kitchen had all the equipment needed to cook, and everything was immaculately clean. The only recommendation I would have is for the building to provide a luggage cart or 2. Unloading for a week’s stay took quite a few trips to the car!
