The South Carolina coast’s spectacular beauty, endless recreational and cultural opportunities, and stunning shoreline will sweep you off your feet.

Idyllic Islands

Charleston has five barrier islands on the Atlantic Ocean: Isle of Palms, Folly, Kiawah, Seabrook, and Sullivans islands. These quaint, charming coastal communities attract artists and writers, surfers and sailors, and families seeking a secluded, peaceful vacation escape.

Beautiful Beaches

Kiawah IslandBeachwalker Beach offers 11 miles of surf and sand. Front Beach on Isle of Palms provides a family-friendly beach destination with stunning white sands. Seabrook Island provides an undisturbed, secluded feel. Of course, a stay in a luxurious waterfront property puts guests steps from sandy dunes and pristine shorelines.

Ocean Views

Step out onto the balcony of one of our waterfront properties for sweeping vistas of the expansive Atlantic. Take in the sea breezes while enjoying your morning coffee. Fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves. Our two-bedroom 4463 Windswept property puts the beach in your backyard. For large groups, the six-bedroom 59 Surfsong boasts impressive ocean views from its third-floor master suite.

World-Class Recreation

There are five top-ranked golf courses on Kiawah Island, as well as the Roy Barth Tennis Center. On Isle of Palms, swing a racquet at the Wild Dunes Resort 12-court tennis center or swing a club at its Links and Harbor golf courses. On Seabrook Island, enjoy the trifecta of recreation with the Ocean Winds Course, Seabrook Island Racquet Club, and the Seabrook Island Equestrian Center, where you can saddle up for beach and trail rides.

Historic Roots

South Carolinas islands have hosted pirates, early colonists, British soldiers, and wealthy landowners. Before that, SeeWee Indians inhabited the Isle of Palms, and Kiawah Island derived its name from a tribe in the 1600s. Isle of Palms also played a significant role in the Civil War as the departure point for the CSS Hunley, the first submarine to sink an enemy vessel.

Fantastic Fare

The Boathouse at Breach Inlet serves fresh seafood, grilled, blackened, or pan-seared. Chow down on a traditional Southern breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Acme Lowcountry Kitchen on Isle of Palms. Fischers Sports Pub & Grill on Seabrook Island is a local favorite, with Tuesday crab leg night, hot wings, and shrimp and fish baskets.

Family-Friendly Activities

Beaches, properties with private poolsbike rentals, and boat cruises offer plenty of family-friendly activities to keep everyone busy. Rent a Jet Ski or go on a parasailing adventure with Tidal Wave Water Sports

Friendly Locals

These are small towns - Isle of Palms has less than 5,000 year-round residents. So dont be surprised when greeted by friendly locals. These communities convey a laid-back vibe, and locals and visitors mingle in our restaurants and bars. We roll out the red carpet.

Picture Perfect

Surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and a network of waterways, there is no shortage of Insta-worthy photo opportunities in these quaint towns. Shoot a breathtaking sunrise over the ocean or sunset at Shem Creek.

Whatever makes you fall in love with these coastal towns, you’re sure to come back again and again.
