Cooper River Bridge Run — Charleston’s Iconic 10K Road Race

Saturday, March 28, 2026 | Mount Pleasant to Charleston, SC

The Cooper River Bridge Run is one of Charleston’s most celebrated annual events — a scenic road race that draws tens of thousands of runners and walkers from around the country. This 10K course starts in Mount Pleasant, takes participants across the iconic Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, and finishes in downtown Charleston, offering breathtaking views of the Cooper River and harbor along the way. What began in 1978 has grown into one of the largest 10K races in the United States, welcoming runners of all levels and fostering a vibrant community spirit while promoting health, fitness, and connection. In addition to the main race, the weekend includes a pre‑race expo, post‑race celebration with music and food, and opportunities to support charity initiatives through participation.

It’s an inspiring way to experience Charleston’s energy, scenery, and community tradition
