The property was just as pictured, very comfortable, with an abundance of space for a family of 8-12. It's a 10-minute walk to the beach (15 with little ones) and two minutes from the pool. The A/C was great. No problems with the proximity to the golf course. We did spot a couple gators in the nearby ponds, so keep your littles and dogs close and your eyes open. Once the sun goes down, it is dark, very dark. That isn't an issue, but just FYI. The closest grocery store is a 15-minute drive away and reflects island prices. Great area over all.

Loved our Thu-Thu holiday stay. Location was great with easy access to beach, bike paths for walking and biking,and ponds for fishing. House was pet friendly which was wonderful bonus for our rescue pup. He loved tooling on the beach and paths. Layout and interior design beautiful. Bedrooms on mainfloor were great, comfortable. Kitchen itself very nice - Kitchen Aide quality appliances, equipped ok. Could use some extra casserole/serving dishes. Basement very fun with pool table, card table, large TVs and lounge rooms. Access to garage great to store bike rentals and car. Very peaceful, relaxing vacation--would definitely stay again!

14 Ocean Green is a very comfortable home on a small cul-de-sac itself located close to a larger cul-de-sac. The walk to and from the beach is easy and enjoyable. We will stay there again when we return.

Really enjoyed the location and the home. Some of the furniture is tired and needs replacing as well as the dryer quit working after day 5. My only suggestion is to clarify whether beach chairs come with the house or not. We rented chairs and when we arrived there were some in the garage. This being said we loved the vacation and house.

We had a wonderful month-long stay at 14 Ocean Green. The beach is a short walk away, with easy access for those with strollers or wagons (no stairs). The home is spacious, featuring 4 bedrooms, each with its own bath. The decor is tasteful and updated, and the bathrooms are very nice, too! Perfect for an extended family or for couples traveling together. This was our second monthly stay with Sweetgrass Properties, and we would happily rent from Sweetgrass again. Should any issue arise, the Sweetgrass staff is incredibly prompt and helpful!

Loved the location and views of the golf course. There were 8 of us and we had a wonderful weekend. Some items needed to be updated and the deck is a bit cramped for our group size. We never used the downstairs and it was musty smelling, could have been cleaner especially the kitchen. The layout was good otherwise with all bedrooms on the same floor , each bedroom with it’s own bathroom. Pet friendly made it possible to stay on kiawah with our little Maltese so we appreciated that.

We were very pleased with 15 Ocean Green. Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived and Sweetgrass was prompt to respond when we needed help. We enjoyed our time in the pool close by, and on the pool table in the beautifully finished basement. We have rented from Sweetgrass for years and have always been pleased with their properties and their attentive care to guests.

What a great place. Perfect for our family. Location was awesome, especially being inside the second gate, and the amenities in the house were just what we needed. We enjoyed our stay at 14 Ocean Green. The only thing I would add is new glassware. We were only 3 people but if we were 8, there would not have been enough glasses, especially wine glasses. Deck furniture could also be updated. All in all a great week!

Great house esp the location. Love the Ocean green neighborhood. Love the 4 bathrooms. The house is very well appointed and comfortable. Only issue was the back deck stayed so messy with debris from trees. Would love a screen porch instead. Basement smelled musty and vacuum cleaner has a broken wheel. Love this house.

We rented this home for 6 weeks- end of February and all of March. It was such a great experience. We primarily used the main floor which has a cozy living room, nice kitchen and dining room (used as an office). The living room was comfortable for us as a couple and when we’d have a couple of guests. Each of the bedrooms has an attached bathroom which is helpful. The bedrooms are comfortable. The bottom floor we didn’t use at all. It feels a bit cold but has a pool table and a poker table which would be fun for the right group. The walk to the beach is about 7 minutes. It’s a pretty walk and the beach is gorgeous. The community pool is a quick few minute walk. It didn’t open until the very end of March so we did not get to use it. The house is on the golf course.

Main floor recently updated - very nice... Short walk/quick bike ride to the beach. Sub-floor could use some updating (we did not use). A garage door remote would also be nice in order to conveniently use garage. All-in-all the house met our expectations and would definitely recommend to friends and family...

Home location was excellent. Reasonably close to boardwalks and central to island activities. Suggest providing door mats as would help to remove debris from shoes. Also, having hand pump soap in baths and kitchen would be a bonus.

This home is located in a fabulous, quiet neighborhood close to the beach and very close to the neighborhood pool. We found the home to be very clean and well-furnished - the beds were extremely comfortable. There is so much space to accommodate guests, and the entire basement is finished to provide great extra space to play pool, games, or relax and watch a movie. We were disappointed with the functionality of the kitchen appliances. They could definitely use updating/replacement. The electric stovetop was almost unusable, and the refrigerator was quite problematic - especially the freezer department. Fortunately, there's a refrigerator/freezer in the basement that works quite well. We hope the owners will also give attention to the outdoor dining table on the back deck. It's in very poor repair. Overall, the property was very good, and our family enjoyed coming together for the first time in a very long time. We've enjoyed family vacations at Kiawah Island for over thirty years now, and we look forward to planning our next gathering there very soon! Sweetgrass Properties are wonderful to work with, too!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 14 ocean green. Watch g the golfers off the back deck was so relaxing! The proximity to the sanctuary and market were also a plus. While a little bit of a walk to the beach....the 3-minute bike ride was easy. The house itself is beautiful....all neural tones and very relaxing. Downstairs is a game room and second living area which was great for the kids or anyone who wanted to stay up late and not have to worry about the noise. The beach items in the storage closet were a plus as well...corn-hold set, bike baskets, chairs, boogie boards....all much appreciated! Would definitely stay here again. We had 9 in our party and the siize was adequate.

The home was wonderful! In great condition and a welcome sanctuary from the long work travels the wife and I face throughout the year. The location is close enough for a quick 5 minute walk to the Turtle Point Clubhouse for dinner or a drink. Thankfully we all had enough room and the dogees loved it! The internet connection was great and the home electronics were easy to use. Great instructions help the stay even more. Hope to stay there again soon!

We had a wonderful & memorable stay! Kiawah is breathtaking & beautiful! Hoping to return next summer. Very lovely property ! Spacious with lots of windows for natural lights, nice open space floor plan, centralized a/c, short walk to beach ..community pool is just 1 house away. We enjoyed sitting & relaxing at the front & back porches watching the chirping birds on trees & also having backyard barbecue.
