Description

Located the exclusive Yacht Harbor area of Wild Dunes Resort on the Isle of Palms, this lovely 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom provides the perfect island getaway.  With private pool, golf course views, and a short walk to the IOP Marina, it's a vacationer's dream!

Upon entry, the neutral colors and comfortable furnishings welcome you to the living area with plenty of room to gather. Off the living room is a spacious porch area, perfect for taking in the salty air, enjoying a nice meal outside, watching the golfers play by, or even keeping an eye on the kids in the outdoor private pool.

The modern kitchen, which is open the the dining and living room areas, is fully equipped and features upgraded appliances and ample space for cooking a delicious meal. The central island in the kitchen is an ideal place to gather for conversations and cocktails while breakfast or dinner is being prepared.  The large dining table seats 8 comfortably and there are 3 bar stools at the island for additional guests.

There is one bedroom on the first floor (Bedroom #1).  It features a King bed, TV, private balcony, and private bathroom. The remaining three bedrooms are located upstairs. The upstairs area also feature a quaint sitting room with a TV and a desk with a wireless printer.  This is a useful spot for those who need to work or school remotely. Down the hall to the left, you'll find the second bedroom (Bedroom #2) which contains one set of full-size bunk beds (full over full). The room has a private bathroom and TV. The middle, or third, bedroom (Bedroom #3) will have a queen size bed, private bathroom, and a TV. To the right of the top of the stairs is the expansive Master suite (Bedroom #4) which boasts a King bed and its own private balcony overlooking the golf course. Those who get to stay here can enjoy a large private bathroom with double vanity and separate tub and shower.

One of the most special aspects of the property is the backyard.  Family and friends will want to spend hours lounging by the pool and playing games. There is a fun outdoor bar area and a flat screen TV. It makes for perfect evening chats, outside dining and grilling, or simply to enjoy the amazing nature surrounding the house. There is an outdoor shower to rinse the sand before entering the pool.

Take advantage of renting the home's golf cart for $150/week! Approval and waiver must be filled out. Be sure to mention upon booking.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Location and amenities worked well. My only few comments relate to the intermittent Wi-fi and need for more sheets (for pullout) and blankets since it was chilly at night. Maybe pot holders, too. But again, minor. A little surprised that former guests appeared to have been reckless as stains on many slipcovers and rugs. We would love to rent again!

I was very happy with this house. It was clean (the most important aspect to me). It was a nice home! Very spacious. The pool was nice and plenty of room to lounge and hang out. I liked that the surrounding area was quiet and well maintained, great place to take walks. The beach was nearby and that was very nice too. Close to Charleston to see that area. There weren’t many kitchen towels, but we had plenty of bathroom towels. Every other amenity we needed the house had. I received my check in and check out information in a timely manner and it had all the details I needed. Overall, I was very pleased.

Very beautiful, spacious home. Accommodated our group perfectly. Parked 3 cars easily, could have been 4. open floor planned allowed for a lot of socializing. Separate bedrooms with bathrooms was ideal. Close enough to all IOP has to offer, but far enough away for quiet peace and space. Great place, would stay again.

We had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed this beautiful home. It was well appointed for our stay and had everything ready for our arrival. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds comfortable and just right for our needs. It would have been better to get the "arriving instructions" prior to arriving. It would also seem that for a minimum stay there would have been enough dishwasher detergent to cover that period. Buying a full tub/bag of dishwasher detergent seems like an unnecessary inconvenience with such a nice overall experience otherwise.

We stayed here with my family of four and then my parents. My sister, brother-in-law, and niece were suppose to come too but got COVID. We had more than enough room to spread out. My girls loved the bunk beds. You could walk or take the golf cart to the marina and mart. I highly recommend this place. We clean and awesome decor.

We had a wonderful month long stay at Yacht Harbor in Wild Dunes. The home was comfortable and we enjoyed listening to the Ocean in the early morning hours. Great location for walking in the area. Easy to walk to the ocean, marina and store. It was nice to be in a home with an updated kitchen, and baths! Would go back!

Housekeeping could be better - old contact lenses and cheerios still under beds and in corners from previous tenant. Vacuum cleaners left at house do not work. Otherwise great place.

House was excellent, and had everything as advertised. No issues or concerns with the house/check-in process. Food and Beverage at the wild dunes restaurants was more expensive as compared to the rest of the island though the food quality was comparable. And two of the restaurants were closed or down to limited options on Saturday (still during their advertised business hours), would expect more for the money being paid.

The house was very clean an comfortable. The neighbors were helpful and a pleasure to chat with. The only confusion was knowing if recycling was do to be out for pick up or not. I would suggest a calendar to help the renters out. Other than that, would definitely come back.

Everything was great with the house. The house on the right side alarm was going off the entire time we were there. Property Managers should look into resolving this issue.
